Onimaru family
The Onimaru family (鬼丸家 Onimaru-ke ) is a historic family of Tokyo. They own a large traditional house close to Yaoya and have been the guardian of the sword of Fuujin for centuries. The whereabouts of only three members are known.

Grandpa Onimaru
Takeshi and Ayame's unnamed grandfather. The current patriarch of the family, he is an aging old man and the keeper of the sword of Fuujin. He only appears in the Yaiba manga and is thus non-Canon in the Detective Conan world. In Kenyuu Densetsu Yaiba, he is known as the founder of the Onimaru family and is an early long-deceased ancestor of Takeshi Onimaru. In Yaiba: Samurai Legend, he is currently abroad with his granddaughter. Three years later in the series, his whereabouts are unknown.
Takeshi Onimaru
A young middle school student, he becomes a demon shortly after the beginning of the Yaiba timeline. Near the end, three years later, he is a graduating high school student and has returned to his human form. In Detective Conan, he is a already a high-schooler and he has not past of being a demon, save for the fact that students think he looks like one.
Ayame Onimaru
Takeshi's older sister. Three years later in the series, her whereabouts are unknown. She only appears in the Yaiba manga and is thus non-Canon in the Detective Conan world. She does not appear in Kenyuu Densetsu Yaiba, but in Yaiba: Samurai Legend, she is abroad in France for a tournament.
