0-Gulf Arabic (99% of people consider this a dialect although there is a big difference between it and Modern Standard Arabic, and it's listed as an individual language in ISO 639-2)

1-Modern Standard Arabic (learnt it through school and dubbed anime)

2-English (learnt it at school)

3-Persian (I go to Iran a lot, not perfect though)

I can read Kana and some basic Kanji.

Have to say, some people here are awesome!

Hehe... Depends only your definition of 'know'...

1. Mandarin (my first language)

2. English (second language, and I speak it better than Mandarin)

3. Spanish (I've been taking it for five years)

4. Japanese (not fluent, but my family has been spurting random phrases of it since I was little, and now I'm trying to learn more cuz of Detective Conan)

5. Taiwanese (I grew up around it, my relatives all speak it, and it's just another kind of Chinese; not fluent)

Japanese ( first language)

Urdu/ Hindi ( my dad is Indian. So....)

Arabic. ( you know....the amount I learn at school. It's not fluent though)

And English. Obviously :P

Whoa... I never thought I'd really meet a japanese here. :3

So you're a mix?

Japanese + Indian?

I've said this before and I'll say it again:

I understand and speak Danish as it is my native language.

I more or less understand Norwegian, as it is not too far from the Danish language, though Swedish is gibberish to me.

English I understand and speak quite well. No, I don't really speak it very well. Damn.

I understand Faroese as it is the language my mother speaks to my siblings and I every day, but I can't speak it, except a few words and phrases.

I've learned some German in school, but forgotten most of it again.

I began learning French this year, but we've had a lot of cancelled modules, so we're a bit behind schedule.

I know English as it's my native tongue, I'm currently learning German (hoping to pick up some Swiss German in the process) and that's about it. I tried teaching myself French and Mandarin before but I got bored so I didn't get very far. Then I know some Korean from liking kpop and some Japanese as well because it just sorta comes with being an anime fan.

I'm not counting stuff like Japanese or Spanish since I only know a morsel of those.

Most English-speaking people will count Spanish, considering how easy it is to guess some words.
