My body is actually conditioned to take the 120 degrees I do in the shower, usually from room temp though. If I'm cold I go from medium and gradually work my up to scorching xD.

Been taking showers like that for like 18 years though so nya~

I'm pretty sure America has some Hot Spring locations too, may be the same for many other countries. You can try googling it =3.

http://www.warmmineralsprings.com/

here's an example site. Have a look, you may find a nearby place you can visit =3.

I personally like the shower heads to give spread out water with lots of hole exits xD.

I take cold showers no matter what the weather is. Be it hot or cold. I can't stand hot water. It makes me feel as though I'm being boiled alive even when the water isn't that hot!

I've felt suffocated in the shower room before. But that doesn't happen often. So I keep turning my water temp up. =X

I take cold showers under certain circumstances. 1) I'm in a rush. 2) The hot water is too hot and I can't seem to find the middle ground. 3) I've just gone diving. If you take a hot shower right after diving, it can cause nitrogen to bubble up from your bloodstream before it's had a chance to dissolve, causing rice krispies (no, not the cereal, these little bumps on your skin that hurt) which is just absolutely painful. So I take cold showers when I've been diving.

Huh. Okay.

*Turns on water*

*Turns on veeeeeeery minimum cold water and hot water to the max*

*Waits*

*Reaches out arm*

Ick. Cold.

*Slowly lowers the amount of cold water coming until hot enough, but not scalding.*

GERONIMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*halfway through*

It's uncomfortable now

*lowers amount of cold water*

*repeats until done*

It's really unhealthy if you are taking shower in opposite temperature of the room temperature though.

Homeostasis can't handle the sudden change in temperature.... if I remember it correctly from Bio class...

that's why you don't sit in front of fire right away after hiking in snowy mountains...

you have to either slowly warm up or cool down, because you can actually die from it.

but that's when you are in extreme conditions though. so I guess it's not much of a problem.

Anyone remember a DC ep like that? The one with the cat and the chocolates?

But how about this: You are in sauna and you go to roll at snow. Then you go back to sauna. How that affects

I'll take hot showers but I'm used to cold ones dry.gif Even in this weather. Though trying a cold shower might be bad if you aren't used to it. But I guarantee one thing; you'll dance like Shakira icon_twisted.gif
