But I'd rather jump straight into a hot shower when the weather is really cold. Itll feel so comfortable xD

It depends of the situation. Usually I take pretty warm shower but when I have washed my hair and body I'd like to stay there for a while with a bit cooler water.

My body is actually conditioned to take the 120 degrees I do in the shower, usually from room temp though. If I'm cold I go from medium and gradually work my up to scorching xD.

Been taking showers like that for like 18 years though so nya~

I love showers in hotels. Their hot water system is powerful. I have to try hot springs from Japan too~ XD seems nice~~~

Same. But back to the topic, I like that shower is something like 37 and if it's hot or I came from sauna I use cold water

I take cold showers no matter what the weather is. Be it hot or cold. I can't stand hot water. It makes me feel as though I'm being boiled alive even when the water isn't that hot!

I've felt suffocated in the shower room before. But that doesn't happen often. So I keep turning my water temp up. =X

I take cold showers under certain circumstances. 1) I'm in a rush. 2) The hot water is too hot and I can't seem to find the middle ground. 3) I've just gone diving. If you take a hot shower right after diving, it can cause nitrogen to bubble up from your bloodstream before it's had a chance to dissolve, causing rice krispies (no, not the cereal, these little bumps on your skin that hurt) which is just absolutely painful. So I take cold showers when I've been diving.

It's really unhealthy if you are taking shower in opposite temperature of the room temperature though.

Homeostasis can't handle the sudden change in temperature.... if I remember it correctly from Bio class...

that's why you don't sit in front of fire right away after hiking in snowy mountains...

you have to either slowly warm up or cool down, because you can actually die from it.

but that's when you are in extreme conditions though. so I guess it's not much of a problem.

I think there was one case with Airconditioner...? I'm not sure. but I know there were few cases involving death at sudden change of tempereature.

5 minutes. . . *washes hair* *turns off water*

6 minutes. . . *turns on water* it's too hot! *cools down water*
