Suika Posted December 12, 2011 Author Report Posted December 12, 2011 that is like when you go from 40 degrees to like 100 right away =3.
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 But I'd rather jump straight into a hot shower when the weather is really cold. Itll feel so comfortable xD
Tsukiko Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 It depends of the situation. Usually I take pretty warm shower but when I have washed my hair and body I'd like to stay there for a while with a bit cooler water.
Suika Posted December 12, 2011 Author Report Posted December 12, 2011 My body is actually conditioned to take the 120 degrees I do in the shower, usually from room temp though. If I'm cold I go from medium and gradually work my up to scorching xD. Been taking showers like that for like 18 years though so nya~
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 I love showers in hotels. Their hot water system is powerful. I have to try hot springs from Japan too~ XD seems nice~~~
Suika Posted December 12, 2011 Author Report Posted December 12, 2011 I'm pretty sure America has some Hot Spring locations too, may be the same for many other countries. You can try googling it =3. http://www.warmmineralsprings.com/ here's an example site. Have a look, you may find a nearby place you can visit =3. I personally like the shower heads to give spread out water with lots of hole exits xD.

Henry Gordan Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Yea I'm sure they have~ only problem is, I don't live in America~ Same. But back to the topic, I like that shower is something like 37 and if it's hot or I came from sauna I use cold water
IdentityUnknown Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 I take cold showers no matter what the weather is. Be it hot or cold. I can't stand hot water. It makes me feel as though I'm being boiled alive even when the water isn't that hot! I've felt suffocated in the shower room before. But that doesn't happen often. So I keep turning my water temp up. =X I take cold showers under certain circumstances. 1) I'm in a rush. 2) The hot water is too hot and I can't seem to find the middle ground. 3) I've just gone diving. If you take a hot shower right after diving, it can cause nitrogen to bubble up from your bloodstream before it's had a chance to dissolve, causing rice krispies (no, not the cereal, these little bumps on your skin that hurt) which is just absolutely painful. So I take cold showers when I've been diving.
Sakila Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Huh. Okay. *Turns on water* *Turns on veeeeeeery minimum cold water and hot water to the max* *Waits* *Reaches out arm* Ick. Cold. *Slowly lowers the amount of cold water coming until hot enough, but not scalding.* GERONIMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *halfway through* It's uncomfortable now *lowers amount of cold water* *repeats until done* It's really unhealthy if you are taking shower in opposite temperature of the room temperature though. Homeostasis can't handle the sudden change in temperature.... if I remember it correctly from Bio class... that's why you don't sit in front of fire right away after hiking in snowy mountains... you have to either slowly warm up or cool down, because you can actually die from it. but that's when you are in extreme conditions though. so I guess it's not much of a problem. Anyone remember a DC ep like that? The one with the cat and the chocolates? 1
Anti-APTX4869 Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Anyone remember a DC ep like that? The one with the cat and the chocolates? I think there was one case with Airconditioner...? I'm not sure. but I know there were few cases involving death at sudden change of tempereature.
nis-aihara Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 i get in the bath. *turn on the shower to ice cold* a few minutes. . . its too cold. *turns the heat up* 5 minutes. . . *washes hair* *turns off water* 6 minutes. . . *turns on water* it's too hot! *cools down water* after bathing. . . gets in room, *turns on fan* Freezing.

But how about this: You are in sauna and you go to roll at snow. Then you go back to sauna. How that affects
A L Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 I'll take hot showers but I'm used to cold ones Even in this weather. Though trying a cold shower might be bad if you aren't used to it. But I guarantee one thing; you'll dance like Shakira

A L Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 WIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPP. :V I've had showers so cold that the air felt warm in winter.
