nis-aihara Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 if you want to know why i made this silly question, here's the answer : those BO people get away with everything! like the some case (but i don't remember what), how could they left the place without any proof?? not even a single proof!and in EP 179, conan's watch don't work on Gin. hm... i just wanna know what you guys think. :?: plus they're so scary, so i think they're not human (i guess). he...he... :-P
Moonlight Magician Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 I lol'ed at the second option. For me it's the 2nd to the last option. ^^

There's one episode where Conan almost got Vodka in his trap unill Gin ruined it. (forgot what ep...) They are that careful even though they don't seem to care much. That's why they are so "dangerous." And....for the second qestion, I think it's because he shot himself before the tranquilizer would take effect completely. it did have some effect on him though.
BK201 Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 Soulless people best dEscribes them. But i think they're just mere human beings who possess extreme intelligence.
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 They are unknown. Identity is unknown. So Identity Unknown. WAIT. WE HAVE A BO MEMBER ON DCW!!!!?????
IdentityUnknown Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 They are unknown. Identity is unknown. So Identity Unknown. WAIT. WE HAVE A BO MEMBER ON DCW!!!!????? . . . CRAP SOMEONE FIGURE OUT MY IDENTITY! DDDDDDDDD: MUST ALERT ANOKATA AT ONCE! Anyways, back on topic. I believe the BO are human through and through. I believe it was stated that Gin shot himself to keep himself awake when Conan used his needle against him. The BO are extremely intelligent and are very cautious (and paranoid, and suspicious) which is why they rarely leave traces behind. Of course, since it's a manga/anime, they are also unrealistically amazing at escaping. Can't have the bad guys caught too early. X: And of course everyone knows that Gin has a part-time job as a pizza boy.
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 Of course they are humans....... But for the fun side, I would prefer that they are Aliens from another galaxy finding ways to get back to their own planet. :V Creatures from the underworld sounds like a good choice too~ :V

tengaku squared Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 I had a very long conspiracy theory about this...
BK201 Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 Well, if the BO aren't humans, then how bout the Gosho boys? They're extraordinary too... overall, they're just the product of Mr. Gosho's incredible imagination... maybe Gosho isn't human... :o jk

Kyuu Nye Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 well for me they made the biggest mistake i mean wandering in town in their outfit comon not really discret its unusuall to see men in black like them Really? Have you ever been to a major city before? I see people dressed all in black ALL the time. They are called "business men." It is the same in Japan I'm sure. It isn't like their attire is all black and not clean or strange looking. To any person they look like business men who like to wear fedoras.
SwiftFeather Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Definitely everything that is mentioned in the poll. but, JFYI, I voted for Soulless Humans LOL I wanted to go for zombies with plastic surgery haha
TheBlackTac Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Of course, they ARE humans. It's just that they are STRONG. (I think. )

Hats are pretty rare these days though and might warrant a double take if worn on a clear day. The skintight catsuits on the ladies are a definite in-public no. I forget exactly what Korn's usual outfit looks like, but I think he might fit in on a fishing expedition/beer festival with that vest/whatever it is. I think about the only place Gin would fit in is an anime convention.
moroboshi dai Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 also wandering in a rare car is not discret at all

I forget exactly what Korn's usual outfit looks like, but I think he might fit in on a fishing expedition/beer festival with that vest/whatever it is. I think about the only place Gin would fit in is an anime convention. Fedoras are worn in all sorts of weather. They don't keep the sun out quite well, so they are more for fashion than anything else. As for the sunglasses... Yeah... Sunglasses on a cloudy day is odd in that attire. Mind you, it is still not unheard of. It would warrant a double take, but not much more than that, mainly because most people think either A) they are trying to be edgy or more likely (if they are in formal attire) they have an eye condition that warrants sunglasses even in minimal sunlight. The skintight catsuit was worn by Vermouth on her motorcycle if I recall correctly. That too is not odd if she is on a motorcycle. It is called a one piece riding suit. In a city, it wouldn't warrant a double take lest it was from a guy checking her out. Likely hers is custom as it is all black, but again, none all too strange for a serious female rider. It not only protects them, but shows off their body, a win/win for female riders. Gin's only problem is his hair. It is too long no matter the standards. I have seen business men that wear similar clothes to Gin that have long hair, but no longer than just under shoulder length. Perhaps it is because I live in a huge metropolis (much like Tokyo where I believe DC takes place, just in a fictional prefecture (I think)), but really... The BO don't wear anything ostensibly out of the ordinary that would make people think of them oddly, especially not considering they have places like Harajuku (especially this one), Shibuya and Shinjuku (both of these are nightlife areas) in Tokyo. What everyone fails to realize about metropolises is that you are exposed to EVERYTHING even, and possibly, especially, in Japan. You get desensitized quick and learn to write off oddities. I mean... Just look at THIS Granted that is in America (and one of my personal favorite street performers) but Japan probably gets its share of weirdness that allow them to tune out any oddities that may strike them.
