The killer from fifteen years ago is Hajime Tomori. He killed Morofushi's parents because he thought that they had kidnapped his daughter Yuri, even though she died from appendicitis after a stroke during physical education class. He also kidnapped Sotsukuri because she looked similar to his daughter.

Luckily, Rei and Matsuda disarm the bombs while Date and Morofushi talk him into surrendering. It all seems to have ended well, but is it the case...
