This episode features an insight to the production process for the Detective Conan anime. The Detective Boys are walking along and overhear some people talking about a murder plan, and a weapon. They tell Conan, whom reassures them that nothing is wrong via the badge. They go through the building where the "suspects" are at, and learn about the ways that Detective Conan episodes are created, and the way the voice actors provide their voices, as well as view the meeting room where the murders and plots are planned out. After they finally understand what is going on, they meet Conan outside of the building, for he has a case for them!
