Manga to anime changes

• The main setting is changed from Niigata in manga to Takayama City, Gifu.
• The anime make Onimaru get back the Fujin Sword a bit faster, compared to manga where the sword was done after Yaiba defeated transformed Kojiro.
• Some scenes not adapted from manga:

• Yaiba transforming into Onimaru to pass the border station Kumo-Otoko built (as the Gold Orb was stolen in previous episode)
• Yaiba's group trying to buy the Dark Orb from a pawn shop, which lead to Musashi gambled their money on horse racing
• Gerozaemon and Namako-Otoko rejoining Yaiba's group
• Yaiba's group using the money won by Gerozaemon to buy the Dark Orb, but it was already stolen by Goemon (this scene is replaced with the stolen Gold and Water Orb in previous episode)
• Musashi disguising as red riding hood to lure transformed Jubei

• The anime adds the scenes where Jubei tells Sayaka how Musashi become his mentor.
• Instead of forcing Jubei into drinking sake like in manga, in anime Musashi makes Jubei to drink by saying that it is part of training.
• In manga, when Yaiba was cornered by transformed Jubei, he use sake to distract him. In anime, Jubei suddenly can't move and have to drink sake, which give Yaiba time to escpae.
• In manga, Yaiba defeated Jubei by throwing a big barrel of sake at him. In anime, Yaiba uses Kaminari-giri.
