Part 1
Naeko is rushing to the police station due to daydreaming about Chiba finally recognizing her again when she meets Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys. While waiting for the traffic light to allow them to walk, Naeko teaches the boys about traffic signs, which are heard by a mysterious man who also looks furious about traffic laws after they are allowed to go.
At work, Sato is discussing with Yumi and Naeko about her stakeout when Takagi and Chiba come to inform Sato to help them with their stakeout, Yumi then pushes Naeko toward Chiba to create an opportunity for their conversation, but Chiba doesn’t recommend her in the stakeout because she looks like a secondary student taught by the police. Later that day, Naeko is having a Karaoke with Shiroi Yagi and Touko Momosaki, who are also raising suspicion about a stalker targeting them. After Yagi takes the drunken Naeko home, Momosaki receives a strange request from a mysterious man that we might have seen earlier, however, this does not turn out very well for her as this was a set up to lure her into her death.
The next day, Yumi and Naeko receive a police announcement of a death when they are having a conversation with Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys, so they all arrive at the scene, only to find out the victim is none other than Momosaki. There are some clues left at the scene including a bent 100 yen coin; multiple scratches on her left hand; strange bloodstain on index finger and the corresponding spot where she touched it, indicating the thing she tried to point before being killed. Takagi and Sato later ask Yagi about Momosaki and tell her about the scene before the latter’s death, which changes her facial expression slightly for some reason.
Part 2
Yumi recalls when she, Yagi, and Momosaki charged three men for breaking traffic laws, specifically:
- Kengo Aono was charged for smartphone usage while driving, he even forgot his driving license.
- Manji Akamine was charged for motorbiking without helmet and wrong-way driving.
- Yuuzou Shiroyama was charged for driving without equipping seatbelt and overdue inspection (driving license expired, as some specific driving licenses would require prolonging when expired).
All three of them reacted harshly because they were in a hurry at the time, but were eventually taken to the police station for resisting an officer on duty.
Conan leaves the scene to go to school with Haibara and the Detective Boys, on the way, he tells them about the scene of the murder. Sato asks Yumi for the information of the three suspects before the latter goes back to her department and sees Naeko praying for Momosaki. Meanwhile, Yagi arrives at the place where she had assumed the culprit is staying at and confronts that person. This doesn’t turn out to be very good for her as she suffers the same fate as the previous victim, leaving a phone that is trying to call 7155 before getting it smashed as well.
Chiba and Shiratori receive the information when they are going with their police car and come to the scene where they meet Kuroda, who happens to pass by and concludes that this is a serial police women murder case. Conan at that moment happens to hear a couple talking about the said murder, so he quickly comes there to witness the investigation. There he hears the anomalies Sato points out that Yagi’s pose is strange considering that:
- The right side of her head has a wound but the side that is in contact with the ground is the left side.
- The location of the smashed phone and her left arm are in an odd position as described earlier about the head.
- There are lipstick marks around her mouth, not just her lips, as if she had rubbed them off somewhere, and there are scratches on her nose too.
Kuroda decides to have her phone checked to see if she called someone, that person might give some clues to help. Conan finally figures out that it is related to the three police women last week, and decides to go to Poirot Café to ask Amuro for some information unaware that Kuroda hears his skateboarding, the latter is seen texting someone else.
