Situation

Part 1

The Detective Boys encountered a drug dealer on the streets and are to solve a code left by the dealer's notebook. This will determine the next drug transaction happening on the day itself.

Part 2

At the Osaka Ebisu bridge, Heiji details the three suspects he notices on the bridge: a large build man with white roses, a young woman with a white rose hair clip, and a average build man with bleached hair, a tattoo and white rose pinned to his shirt. During his description of the third man, he sees Kazuha talking with him and is distracted by it.

Resolution

The man with the white rose pinned to his shirt (Yakumaru) is actually an undercover Narcotics officer and knew the where and when of the transaction. Narcotics officers then arrive and arrest the guilty parties.

Heiji thought that the bleached haired man was the criminal, and when the police comrades came to drag Kazuha away to safety, he became mad and accidently yelled for the policemen to 'get away from my Kazuha'!

In the end, when Heiji and Kazuha were leaving the police station, Kazuha asked what he meant when he said 'my Kazuha' at the bridge. Heiji told her that he had no evidence of him saying that, and that her ears must have been playing tricks on her. It turned out the Detective Boys actually recorded Heiji saying that, and Haibara made it her ring tone, shown in episode 809.
