<spoiler>The "Bearded guy with sunglasses" was '''Hitoshi Yuda''' in a disguise, and '''Maya Tachibana''' was a hitwoman that he hired to kill Kogoro for "revealing" him as the killer of his wife. She lost her memories when she got involved in a traffic accident and hit her head; midway through the episode she recovered it, specially after Yuda kept trying to kill Kogoro himself; Maya then decided to pretend she was still amnesiac, both to set the deal with Yuda and then finish her mission of killing Kogoro.

The Mysterious Woman With Amnesia Case (謎の美女記憶喪失事件 Nazo no Bijo Kioku Sōshitsu Jiken?), known in English as Better Off Forgotten, is the 24th episode of Detective Conan anime.

It's the 6th anime-original episode, written by Junichi Miyashita. It was first aired in July 15, 1996.

In this episode, a woman named Maya has amnesia and stumbles into Kogoro, Ran, and Conan. After leaving the hospital with Maya a car almost hits them and a piece of a building almost falls on them. Conan suspects that someone is trying to kill Maya, but also finds that Maya is acting strangely.
