Onsen Fun (るんるん温泉旅館 ,Runrun Onsen Ryokan) is the 5th episode of Yaiba: Samurai Legend anime.

Yaiba and the others head for Ganryujima in search of Sasaki Kojiro's sword. After dealing with a slug-like demon, they stop at a hot springs resort.

Manga to anime changes

• The battle against Namekuji-Otoko is longer in manga.
• The episode takes place at Yunoshima Inn located at Gero Town in Gifu Prefecture, while in manga it took place at fictional Dainoji Onsen.
• In manga, Kenjuro appeared and joined the group in the onsen. He doesn't appear in the anime version.
• The episode adapted the design of the inn owner in chapter 75 and the way he lured Yaiba's group to the inn.
• The subplot involving test of courage is anime original.

Trivia

• The conversation between Yaiba and Kamakiri-Otoko is a reference to Little Red Riding Hood, which is also mentioned by Sayaka.
• The pose and the style when Kamakiri-Otoko is knocked out is a reference to the famous final fight in Ashita no Joe.
