Hijacked Department Store Case (デパートジャック事件 ,Depāto Jakku Jiken^?) is the 17th episode of Detective Conan anime.

It's the 3rd anime-original episode, written by Junichi Miyashita. It was first aired in May 27, 1996, while the remastered version was aired in October 31, 2015.

In this episode, the Detective Boys find themselves trapped in a department store in the middle of a heist and have to outsmart the burglars.

The Detective Boys were locked inside a department store after hours. They were returning to retrieve Genta's autograph of Yaiba, a fictional super hero. They decide to visit the security room to ask to be released. They find robbers have tied up the security guards and the elevator girl.

A remastered version of this case was aired on October 31, 2015. Some dialogues between the Detective Boys were cut in order to fit the time slot.
