Part 1
Naeko is rushing to the police station due to daydreaming about Chiba finally recognizing her again when she meets Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys. While waiting for the traffic light to allow them to walk, Naeko teaches the boys about traffic signs, which are heard by a mysterious man who also looks furious about traffic laws after they are allowed to go.
At work, Sato is discussing with Yumi and Naeko about her stakeout when Takagi and Chiba come to inform Sato to help them with their stakeout, Yumi then pushes Naeko toward Chiba to create an opportunity for their conversation, but Chiba doesn’t recommend her in the stakeout because she looks like a secondary student taught by the police. Later that day, Naeko is having a Karaoke with Shiroi Yagi and Touko Momosaki, who are also raising suspicion about a stalker targeting them. After Yagi takes the drunken Naeko home, Momosaki receives a strange request from a mysterious man that we might have seen earlier, however, this does not turn out very well for her as this was a set up to lure her into her death.
The next day, Yumi and Naeko receive a police announcement of a death when they are having a conversation with Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys, so they all arrive at the scene, only to find out the victim is none other than Momosaki. There are some clues left at the scene including a bent 100 yen coin; multiple scratches on her left hand; strange bloodstain on index finger and the corresponding spot where she touched it, indicating the thing she tried to point before being killed. Takagi and Sato later ask Yagi about Momosaki and tell her about the scene before the latter’s death, which changes her facial expression slightly for some reason.
Part 2
Yumi recalls when she, Yagi, and Momosaki charged three men for breaking traffic laws, specifically:
- Kengo Aono was charged for smartphone usage while driving, he even forgot his driving license.
- Manji Akamine was charged for motorbiking without helmet and wrong-way driving.
- Yuuzou Shiroyama was charged for driving without equipping seatbelt and overdue inspection (driving license expired, as some specific driving licenses would require prolonging when expired).
All three of them reacted harshly because they were in a hurry at the time, but were eventually taken to the police station for resisting an officer on duty.
Conan leaves the scene to go to school with Haibara and the Detective Boys, on the way, he tells them about the scene of the murder. Sato asks Yumi for the information of the three suspects before the latter goes back to her department and sees Naeko praying for Momosaki. Meanwhile, Yagi arrives at the place where she had assumed the culprit is staying at and confronts that person. This doesn’t turn out to be very good for her as she suffers the same fate as the previous victim, leaving a phone that is trying to call 7155 before getting it smashed as well.
Chiba and Shiratori receive the information when they are going with their police car and come to the scene where they meet Kuroda, who happens to pass by and concludes that this is a serial police women murder case. Conan at that moment happens to hear a couple talking about the said murder, so he quickly comes there to witness the investigation. There he hears the anomalies Sato points out that Yagi’s pose is strange considering that:
- The right side of her head has a wound but the side that is in contact with the ground is the left side.
- The location of the smashed phone and her left arm are in an odd position as described earlier about the head.
- There are lipstick marks around her mouth, not just her lips, as if she had rubbed them off somewhere, and there are scratches on her nose too.
Kuroda decides to have her phone checked to see if she called someone, that person might give some clues to help. Conan finally figures out that it is related to the three police women last week, and decides to go to Poirot Café to ask Amuro for some information unaware that Kuroda hears his skateboarding, the latter is seen texting someone else.
At the Poirot Café, Amuro reveals the reason why the three were even in a hurry (Amuro does not know their name, but Conan does):
- Aono’s lover was having a neurological disorder so he needed to come there immediately.
- Akamine rushed because he had to save his ex wife because she was assaulted by his new lover.
- Shiroyama’s sister was haunted by her stalkers and if he couldn’t stand by her, she could be in danger.
Conan asks if any of the three played golf or baseball as the first victim pointed that way, to which he couldn’t give an answer as he doesn’t know them so Conan leaves for somewhere else. After he leaves, Azusa and Amuro praise his intelligence as a real detective, with Amuro recalling the time when he broke into the Kudo’s residence. Later, Conan is seen in the second scene and finds out that the direction where Yagi was facing at there is a no parking sign.
Meanwhile, Yumi and Naeko are looking at the scene sent to her phone when suddenly someone calls Yumi and later known to be Shukichi, who is worrying about her safety so much that he calls him once every 10 minutes. In the second scene, Shiratori and Chiba tell Sato that there was hardly anyone home when Yagi was killed, so Sato decides to ask the neighbors around before they forget about it. Yumi, who just arrived in a police car, is thinking that they will forgive her for using it for investigation purposes when she feels a creepy gaze directed at her, and then a person is seen approaching her?
Part 3
Shiratori, Chiba, and Sato are asking an old woman if she’s ever seen a suspicious person or known Yagi, to which she answers not at all. When the police tell the lady where Yagi fell, she begins to express her fear as there was a woman who lived there and jumped out of the building exactly one week ago. But before Sato can ask for more information about the suicide, there is a scream stating that there is someone died, so they arrive at the place where the one who screamed points at.
In a shocking turn, Yumi is the one lying down exactly where Yagi did earlier, at first Sato cries for her death but is later surprised when learns that Takagi forgets to inform her and the others that Yumi asked him if she could lie there to see what had Yagi tried to look at, which was the no parking sign. At this moment, Sato remembers that in the first scene, at the direction Momosaki was looking at, there is also a no parking sign like this one. Takagi also informs that the number Yagi was trying to make a call was 7155, so Yumi tries to call Naeko to confirm if Karaoke has a song corresponding to that number, to which she says no. Everyone decides to go ask for information somewhere else while Yumi goes home following others' recommendation.
At the park where Momokasi died, Chiba meets Conan and has a conversation with him about the scene of the murder, with Chiba states that he has the 7155 thing they had earlier to confirm whether something in the park has to do with that number. Then Conan asks Chiba to take him to Agasa, while in his car, the two have a conversation about traffic signs before Conan realizes the meaning of that number. However, they haven’t noticed that something bad is also happening right now.
It takes the two a while to realize that Naeko was the one to call Chiba earlier to ask for help. Will everyone in the Metropolitan Police Department be able to capture the real culprit and rescue her?
