Speaking of which, I really ought to enter some competitions in writing...if I knew you IRL I would recommend my writing instructor to you, she's amazing (currently writing her own book!).

She gave me a lot of inspiration and said that I had potential as a writer. By the time she left, she said that it was about time to get serious and look into publishing. <3 That was a few years ago though... Hmm. You write Fanfiction? I could recommend a few websites that you could publish stuff to -- not just FF.net.

I'll sift through my dad's many emails to me and send you a couple of websites. My parents are great and support me, giving me every chance possible for me to write. I'll send you them through a PM. Some of the magazine ones might be a bit childish but it's still a good chance of getting stuff published. And if you write in Chinese, you can also enter in a couple of competitions/magazines. I did that last year and got bronze for this really random piece that came off the top of my mind.

I think the magazine's standards are a little higher (unless you're a really good jokester). The competition is called BingXin and considering my writing piece wasn't the best I've ever written, you don't need to be extremely good. Do note that the competition only takes nonfiction pieces (which is sad ). The magazine, I believe, takes both.
