Either that, or you seriously injured yourself once. Kind of hard to tell from your wording.

Akazora Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 My aunt and uncle also tried to convert me but apparently, I was too stubborn so they gave up, haha. I don't think I would have been cross-dominant if it weren't for tennis. None of my coaches realized that I was left-handed so I've been taught to play with my right hand for practically my entire life (geezus, I envy left handed tennis players so much). As a result, my right arm is stronger than my left arm which I guess is why I tend to prefer my right arm/hand over my left when I'm doing stuff other than eating and writing. Not very convenient. I see. When I was little, I was apparently a very obedient and sweet kid. I probably tried my darndest best to use my right hand when my parents forced me to. Even though you say your cross-dominance isn't convenient, I think it's really unique. I haven't ever met anyone with that before, so it's really special, haha.

I haven't ever met anyone with that before, so it's really special, haha. It's probably not that unique, haha. It's either most people don't realize they're cross-dominant or they never bother to admit it. I didn't even know I was cross-dominant until a friend of mine pointed it out. In my case, the cross-dominance seemed more forced than natural.
