Just watched both episodes, waiting for the third.

I have to say, I'm quite impressed with the voice actors and actresses.

Other than the fact that they spoke a tad bit too slow, I enjoyed listening to them.

Especially the evil guy in dreadlocks. His voice makes my spine shiver...

I'm also quite pleased with the graphics, coloring, angles, etc.

Some parts looked a bit sloppy, but over all a nicely made arc so far.

Excepting even more in the next episode!

One weird thing is that Conan read the piece of hint (ep. 617) which was in English using Japanese.... And Ran's accent is ~WeIrD~... I was kind of pleased that they did hire voice actors who speak using British accent for those random guys that they meet :)

Let me remind you all in case you are thinking about posting links to full length videos not to do that. Lawyers stopped by once before with a take down notice. We don't want that to happen again.

(Short clips of important scenes are OK to post, just not full length videos)

Oh... I thought that it was caused by the compilation of videos... so... even just a link is still a problem... Ok... and Sorry...

I just can't figure out who the original speakers could be...

The names from the credits are as follows:

Minerva- ルミコバーンズ Rumiko Varnes (A Japanese woman who is a bilingual narrator.)

Diana- レイチェル・ワルザ Rachel Walzer (She's American.)

Guard, passers-by- マーク・チネリー Mark Chinnery (This guy is Australian.)

English voice coach: マイケル・リース Michael Rhys

I don't know if the criminal has been credited yet, but if he is, I'll let you know.

Thanks Edible Pencil~!

Hmm.. the Australian guy has a weird accent when he's trying to imitate an English one, though I suppose I'd probably be as bad if I tried to copy an Australian one.

I find it interesting that they bothered with fairly good English speakers, surely most of Conan's Japanese audience wouldn't be able to tell if it was terrible or brilliant and in the past they've not really gone for the non-Japanese viewers...

which means theyre concerned about non-japanese viewers too, or they want the show to be more realistic~
