Going along the lines of Chek's theory here, does that also imply that maybe Yusaku and Yukiko were possible BO members/Anokata? When they first appear early on, they act out an entire and completely unrealistic kidnapping and pretending to be Organization members "play", tricking Conan into thinking they were evil. Maybe Gosho first thought up of the idea and planned to have them turn out to actually be BO members, but when he realized he didn't have to end it that soon, he made a change of plans and added an alternate ending?

Also, the relatively newly established member, Spider, can also be referred to many different forms of cocktails such as Barking Spider, Spider's Kiss, White Spider, etc. But personally I really doubt the MKO and BO are related. I personally think, similar to how the BO members are all alcoholic drinks, the MKO members are all venomous animals (I don't count Rose because she was only introduced in a DC OVA). Snakes can be poisonous and spiders can be poisonous. This is only my theory, but I can't seem to find any other relationship between "snake" and "spider" save for the fact that they both start with the letter "s".

Woah, really interesting! Lots of characters involved in this one (though I could do without the Detective Boys considering we just had an arc involving them).

Okay, it definitely seems like official artwork and looks like it'll be the poster, though we have yet to see the actually thing. It does look really nice. The pair of eyes at the top reminds me of M-1's poster. Shinichi in his school uniform doesn't really suggest much. Sonoko and the Detective Boys are the only happy ones on the poster. And the explosion right below Conan looks a lot like M-15's poster explosion. Same editing. Though the explosion seems to come from the score board which matches up with my observation in a previous post that the only bomb they showed in the trailer was affixed to the back of the scoreboard. I'm actually starting to really like this poster.

Interesting... The lack of text save for part of the Detective Conan title leads me to think it's a fake. Also, the explosion right below Conan looks like the M-15 poster explosion. But I'd have to say it is quite nicely made, a lot better than most fan-made works.

The song in this opening wasn't bad in my opinion. Good? Definitely not. But not bad either. The animations killed it for me. People have mentioned the Pokemon Detective Boys using X-Scissor to leave the foe Bomb with 1 HP (okay, maybe not that last part), the goth loli Haibara (who struck a pose that reminded me of Fantina from Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum), and all that other crazy stuff that made no sense. There's not much for me to add anymore. I have to say, this is the worst opening since, about... Oh goddamn, I can't think of anything that can compare, which is really sad. I guess they tried to go all symbolic and sinister with the light snow in the very beginning while Conan and Ran are running (if anybody else happened to catch that) and the apocalyptic city in the background, but seriously, a quick BO appearance wouldn't hurt, right? I'm not exactly a big fan of Kaito, so it's fine he's absent from this opening. He got himself so many new episodes while Misty Mystery aired anyway. I'm hoping this is a transition opening, like Tear Drops, but considering Don't Wanna Lie that followed it was a special case, and it seemed they actually put "effort" into this opening, it'll probably be around for quite a while. What a way to start the new year!

I don't have an answer to that. Maybe someone who can contact the translators will be able to answer that question (I don't have a DCTP account, so all I know is from this thread). Though R4s are technically illegal, ROMs and emulators are technically illegal, too, so it's really up to DCTP.

Maybe referring to herself? Probably something to do with the BO and the white v. black color schemes which refer to good v. evil and grey is in between? I'm not very good with literary analysis.

Considering all the adults seem to be extremely tall compared to their surroundings and all the children seem to be extremely short compared to the adults (and their surroundings), I wouldn't stress about it too much. Many other animes and mangas like to exaggerate height, usually to emphasize the leanness of adults and the cuteness of the children.

Because it seems no one has taken the time to reply, I guess I will. Technically, Conan hasn't "revealed his identity yet. He did get pretty close a few times times: 1. M-3: When Kaito Kid finds out Conan is Shinichi. This is non-canon, and Kaito still has yet to prove he knows the two are the same in any canon work. 2. M-6: When Conan gets into the cocoon, Hiroki (as Noah's Ark) realizes Conan is actually Shinichi through some unknown identification program in the cocoon itself. However, he never tells Conan he figured out the secret, and only whispers, "Goodbye, Kudo Shinichi" just before committing "computer suicide". 3. M-10: When the criminal (won't reveal name in case some people haven't watched it yet) uses the fingerprint detectors, he mistakenly takes Conan as Shinichi. Fortunately for Conan, he's also blind and with the help of the voice changing bow tie, Conan can keep his identity a secret. 4. M-13: The most famous, when Irish figures out Conan is Shinichi through a fingerprint matching software. He's killed before he can tell anyone else of his findings, ensuring Conan's secret is still a secret. If you're looking for the time Conan almost told Ran who he really was, that would be the scene in M-3 where Conan takes off his glasses as prepares to admit, but Kaito Kid interferes.

Oh, that makes sense. No wonder Yoko seemed like such a suspicious character to me...

The one with the disguises is OP-13, "Kimi to yakusoku shita yasashii ano basho made".
