Most definitely Vermouth. She is the most mysterious and arguably most powerful member of the Black Organization, since she's the Boss's "favorite" and all that.

Very glad to see that other people agree with my ages-old theory that Gin and Shiho had some sort of relationship in the past, but, IMO, what I got from all of the hints is that the relationship was merely sexual. I don't think of Gin as the kind of person to even have love as an emotion, and considering Shiho's personality as well, it may be that in the past, they were actually lovers, hence Gin's obsession with finding and killing her, since that's the only thing he's ever felt and shred of feelings for.

Ah, indeed, we are in the process of doing that!! In fact, pairing pages for Shinichi and Ran, Heiji and Kazuha, Conan and Haibara, and Sonoko and Makoto are already up, with more on the way!!

As far as I know, there's no Black Organization cases in the manga that haven't been put into the anime yet. I may have missed something, but that's as far as I know. Gosho hasn't written a Black Organization case in awhile.

IMO, Shiratori was done from the start. She never felt anything for him... her family wanted her to hook up with him merely because of how much money he had, and she never actually showed any sort of interest in him. Even in his first appearance, she rejected his dinner offer right away, while inviting Takagi to a ramen dinner. It seems that she's not interested in guys who are very wealthy. I'm actually glad Shiratori's personality changed with his romance with Kobayashi. Kobayashi and Shiratori are adorable together, and even though it's another tired Aoyama cliche (childhood friends!!) it's a really nice little backstory.

He's never been fully wrong, as far as I know, but there have been times where he's been off the mark on parts. For example, in episodes 305-306, he misses the reason why Kogoro's friend was protecting the real killer (he was her real father, as Kogoro correctly deduced, while Shinichi/Conan thought they were lovers.) Movie 9 is the only time that, AFAIK, Kogoro actually beats him in a deduction. Conan doesn't figure out who it is (and even gets his own deduction completely wrong) until Kogoro actually confronts the person with his deduction.
