Background
I'm fairly new here at the wiki, but I'm no stranger to the Conan fandom.
I entered in a good majority of the titles on the Anime News Network anime episode listing for Conan and am the editor of the Japanese version of the show at TV.com.
I'm also one of the main hosts for the Detective Conan World Podcast along with CarpetCrawler, Southpaw, and Icka.
Transliteration Style
- I use Hepburn romanization for particles. This means I write "he" (へ) as "e", "wo" (を) as "o", and "ha" (は) as "wa".
- Katakana usage is capitalized. Therefore I write コナン as KONAN.
- EDIT: Am slowly correcting my entries to match the transliteration style recommended by Wikipedia.
End of Conan predictions
Main Group
- Conan Edogawa: Either "moved back to America" is given as the excuse or Shinichi reveals the truth to the Detective Boys and others after all is said and done.
- Shinichi Kudo: Takes down the Black Organization and returns back to normal. Probably becomes a private detective like his idol Holmes. Engaged to Ran in the epilogue of the story, possibly has a son with Ran in the future they name Conan.
- Ran Mouri: Forgives Shinichi and helped take down the Organization. Nearly attacked in the process but is saved by a sacrifice from Vermouth. Engaged to Shinichi in the epilogue of the story, possibly has a son with Shinichi in the future they name Conan. Probably just remains as a housewife.
- Kogoro Mouri: Forgives Shinichi (...eventually, perhaps after becoming a grandfather) and gets back together with Eri.
Osaka
- Heiji Hattori: Helps Shinichi take down the Black Organization. Finally confesses to Kazuha and the two date. In the future likely marries Kazuha and they have a child that is friends with Shinichi and Ran's. Probably joins his father in working at Osaka's police headquarters.
- Kazuha Toyama: Finally is able to properly confess to Heiji and the two date. In the future likely marries Heiji and they have a child that is friends with Shinichi and Ran's. Frequently spotted around the Osaka police headquarters calling her husband an "aho" while dropping off a bentou for him.
Detective Boys
- Mitshiko Tsuburaya: Decides to pursue a degree in criminal investigation. Helps run the Detective Club in Teitan High School and is extremely skilled in deductions. Attempting to muster together the courage to confess to Haibara.
- Ayumi Yoshida: Helps run the Detective Club in Teitan High School. Receives several confessions throughout her time there but turns down every one. Has noticed Genta seeming to blush every time he sees her lately.
- Genta Kojima: Helps runs the Detective Club in Teitan High School and continues to help out in the family's liquor store. Trying to gather the courage to confess to Ayumi.
- Ai Haibara: Survives the take down of the Organization and decides to remain as a child, deciding there was nothing left for her as Shiho Miyano. Helps run the Detective Club in Teitan High School (for old times sake).
Ekoda
- Kaito Kuroba: Successfully finds Pandora and his identity of being the second Kaitou Kid is revealed. Nearly killed during the take down of the Organization after disguising as Shinichi to help a kidnapped Ran escape before Conan is able to arrive. Engaged to Aoko.
- Aoko Nakamori: Studying to become a policewoman. Eventually forgives Kaito and accepts his proposal.
- Akako Koizumi: Opens a Magic and Witchcraft Shop in town. Bystanders occasionally hear her customers mutter something about "muggles".
- Saguru Hakuba: Becomes a full-fledged private investigator like his idol Holmes. Becomes a penpal to Shinichi after returning to London. Best man at Kaito's wedding, much to the amusement of both.
Police
- Miwako Sato: Married to Takagi by the end of the story. Helps from the sidelines during the take down of the Organization due to pregnancy. Has a daughter with Takagi.
- Wataru Takagi: Married to Sato by the end of the story. Helps during the take down of the Organization (much to his wife's worry). Has a daughter with Sato.
- Ninzaburo Shiratori: Helps in the take down of the Organization. Still dating Sumiko and is preparing to ask for her hand in marriage.
Black Organization
- Gin: During the final confrontation against Shinichi somehow ends up causing his own death.
- Vodka: Captured and sent to prison.
- Chianti: Captured and sent to prison.
- Korn: Captured and sent to prison.
- Vermouth: Dies after protecting Ran from being shot.
- Anokata: Shinichi successfully manages to bring anokata to justice, but they seem to still have friends in high places and they somehow escape only about two months into their lifetime sentence.
FBI/CIA
- Hidemi Hondou: Returns to America and rejoins her brother.
- Eisuke Hondou: Manages to become a competent CIA agent.
- Jodie Starling: Helps during the take down of the Organization. Returns to America afterwards and convinces Akai to join her.
- Shuichi Akai: Revealed to be alive and was hiding as Subaru Okiya. Older brother of Masumi Sera. Has at least one more confrontation with Gin, possibly aiding in Gin causing his own demise. Returns to the FBI.
Others
- Eri Kisaki: Continues being a lawyer and gets back together with Kogoro. Enjoys being a grandmother.
- Sumiko Kobayashi: Continues to teach at Teitan Elementary and is dating Shiratori.
- Yukiko Kudo: Spoils her grandson absolutely rotten. xD
- Yusaku Kudo: Still a successful writer. Pleased to be a grandfather.
- Sonoko Suzuki: Still dating Makoto!
- Makoto Kyogoku: Still dating Sonoko!
- Masumi Sera: Revealed to be the younger sister of Shuichi Akai. Judging from interviews, will have a confrontation with Haibara. Might aid in taking down the Organization, assuming she's not working for them.
- Tooru Amuro: Revealed to be Bourbon and became Kogoro's apprentice to gain info on Akai.
