The culprit is Yoriko Danno who used her shoe lace to tie together a lot of coins to form a rod. The murder was committed because the victim (Ikuyo Yatani) indirectly killed the murderer's son. Ikuyo Yatani was the pickpocket who stole Yoriko's wallet a year earlier with her car keys in it, which kept her son stuck in her car to die from suffocation. Touhei Benzaki is actually Bourbon in disguise and Vermouth disguises herself as his pregnant wife to get him out of the case. Bourbon comments on Conan being a terrifying man for a boy.

Trivia

In Chapter 850, Yoriko's hair is black, later changed to blonde in anime.
