Mai Takigawa accidentally kills her boyfriend Yusuke Tsuda in self-defense after misunderstanding him as a burglar, but in reality he along with Mai's best friend Riko Totsuka planned a surprise party for her birthday.

Even though Riko Totsuka was the one who created the plan, the surprise party and suggested Mai to have a dangerous weapon as a self defense object, the one who manipulated Riko into creating the "murder in self-defense" plan was Mai Takigawa. She knew that Riko and Yusuke were lovers and took advantage of the plan to kill her boyfriend on purpose. She finally bursts out laughing because she was so dumb for trusting her best friend and her boyfriend.

Miwako Sato appears in this episode, even if is a TV Original one, which is extremely rare.
