Several hours later, during the rain, she woke up and, disoriented, ventured in the nearby neighborhood. She was then hit by Ryuji Koyabu's truck, but struggled and managed to climb inside. She then asked Koyabu to drive her back to the river, where she went to retrieve Shirosaki's lost earring. She then took refuge inside the car and died there, having lost too much blood. Both suspects didn't come back on time to find her, and didn't notice her in the car.
