Trivia

Taro Hayashida uses research balloons, balloons that are used for scientific purposes. Usually unmanned, theses balloons are filled with gases lighter than air so they can go high in the sky. Most of them are used in meteorology, atmospheric research, astronomy, and military research and only a few balloons like these are launched per year by particulars.

After the crime, she climbed up the mountain, she because she was rushing she ended up injuring her palm. And there are marks of the balloon and she also smelled of kerosene. Her motive was that Motoki was trying to find Takemi in the mountains by climbing down the cliff, without knowing that she was taking pictures below the mountain. Which inadvertently caused Motoki to fall from the cliff to his death. Eiko also confessed that she wanted to frame Hayashida, because he was jealous about the two of them and he knew that Motoki and Eiko were secretly dating. As a result he did not tell Motoki about the cliff and how dangerous it was to climb down from a certain area, he knew this but kept this to himself most likely hoping that he would at least hurt himself.</spoiler>
