Sword of Fujin, Reborn (蘇る風神剣 Yomigaeru Fūjin-ken), known in English as Fujinken Reborn, is the 2nd episode of Yaiba: Samurai Legend anime.
Written by Toko Machida and directed by Takahiro Hasui, the episode follows Yaiba tormenting Onimaru in an attempt to bait him into a duel. Onimaru refuses to fight - until Shonosuke ransacks his beloved pigeon pen.

Plot
Manga to anime changes
- The opening scene about Onimaru's online conversation with his sister is completely new. In the manga, he lived with his sister and grandfather, while in this episode they are in Paris.
- Yaiba's self-built tree house doesn't exist in the anime.
- After Yaiba falls down the stairs at Yaoya Middle School because of Onimaru, he immediately comes up with his plan to convince Onimaru to fight. The subsequent scene in the school infirmary from the manga, in which Sayaka treats him and only then does he get the idea, is not adapted.
- In manga, Yaiba filled the last trap with soil and then levels it with the sports field roller, but in anime he leaves the hole open and simply pushes the roller over it.
- Due to the absence of Yaiba's tree house, the scene with Onimaru in the Mine residence is adapted dfferently. In the manga, he mistakes Kagetora, who is sleeping there, for Yaiba and beats him up. In the anime, he accidentally steps on Kagetora's tail and knocks him out in self-defense.
- Due to the Onimaru family's absence, no one is home after Takeshi leaves, so Yaiba's visit to the Onimaru residence is shortened in the anime, with his interactions with Onimaru's family are not adapted, and directly ended with him meeting Shonosuke.
- Instead of meeting on a random pedestrian bridge, as in the manga and the first anime, Yaiba and Onimaru meet at Kaminarimon and then battle across the Asakusa district, passing through real-life locations. In the other two versions, their fight takes them across Tokyo, passing through more generic urban environments, while in the anime they only cross several vehicle roofs. Yaiba hurls wooden slats at Onimaru instead of concrete pipes. The elderly couple, whose living room they demolished in the manga, reappear in this episode as passengers in a rickshaw.
- Various scenes from Yaiba's training appear here before Onimaru finds the Sword of Fujin. Instead of under samurai armor inside the mansion in the manga, Onimaru finds the secret basement (which also has a different design) under a stone lantern in the courtyard.
- In thsi anime version, there are numerous Oni statues there, and instead of those of Raijin and Fujin, there is only a larger depiction of the latter, who is not holding the sword, as it is in a pot in front of him. Instead of the explanations from his grandfather, who hands it to him, a mysterious voice speaks to him.
- In the manga, he trained for several days with the blade, which slowly transforms him into the demon. In the anime, he immediately transforms upon grasping the sword.
Trivia
- The battle between Yaiba and Onimaru features some real-life location with the starting point at Kaminarimon gate, then continues through Nakamise Shopping Street. When Yaiba leaves the rickshaw, they are in front of Asakusa Kokusai Doriten Karaoke-kan. The fight then continues at the roof of a yellow bus, which is based on real-life yellow bus owned by Hato Bus (the anime changes the name to "Heart Bus", which has similar pronounciation). The bus drives along Prefectural Route 462 before turning to Kaminarimon-dori Street. The signpost where Yaiba collides with is positioned before Azumabashi intersection.
