So, after two long lectures and everything, I have come to the same conclusion that I always come to, in fact, the conclusion I come to every single day:

It's all my fault.

You can argue as much as you like, but that's exactly the message you're conveying to me. Look at your phrasing. Look at your attitude. Look at how everything, however minor or trivial, somehow goes back to me, me being irresponsible and wanting too much and not appreciating.

Is it that easy to express appreciation? Sometimes it's just awkward going directly up to someone and saying "thanks" because it just doesn't seem to fit well. But apparently, everyone must think like you and act like you and know exactly what you mean. You think I don't appreciate it, and I daresay I don't do enough. But that doesn't mean you can put me down, insult me, and say in general that our family would be better off without me. The only thing I can say that's good is at least you don't insult my friends anymore.

Do you see now why I wish I could disappear?
