No! I didn't see Shinichi. I just saw Junpei as the actor not the actor in character. Although he was quite good. When I watched it, I always say Junpei instead of Shinichi. I still prefer Shun Oguri as Shinichi Kudo.

Shinichi is better with Ran because i like it when Shinichi is back with the old days when everything wasn`t complicated because of the BO. When he is with Ai it feels like he is always in mortal peril...
