This kinda reminds of the a situation in an anime con near me. They ban all Kingdom Hearts fanart because it's a property of Disney and they don't allow use of their characters. This ban they're passing will really affect people selling doujinshis at cons like Comicket. Maybe cons in Taiwan as well....but I'm not sure about the english fandom since they don't really enforce overseas people. Stupid publishers. Mangakas don't even mind this. Fanart and fandom is free advertising! Maybe I would write a letter... Thanks for sharing this Kazu, I'll keep this in mind.

I think the BO like any other criminal organisation just wants money and power xD. Where they're spending that money though (APTX research) is a secret only people like Vermouth and Sherry knows. I think APTX is a project of the boss. But not of the organisation.

Hahah my friend won't even look at the art because the eyes look weird (too big and kiddish). I think they look fine. Which is sad because he loves eechi anime where characters with giant kiddish eyes appear all the time. Though I bet he wasn't looking at their eyes at the time...*facepalm* A friend of mine in RL is in to DC because of KaiShin though xD. He obsessed with them but only tend to read/watch the chapters where they appear. He then makes up weird OOC high school drama stories about them which I don't understand (but eh whatever).

I love Angel Heart (and city hunter too)! Angel Heart really shows the maturity of the mangaka I think. The whole relationship between father and daughter is just very sweet. The living after your love one passed away thing was done well too.

Eh? I like Yaoi as well, and straight cp. Actually I just like any interaction between characters that are interesting 8D Yuri is awesome in this fandom because the girl characters have so little development (leaves room for interpretation), have flaws, and yet are all good people inside (nice personalities). They're not exactly moe moe but they're cute their own way <3 (which is good because I don't like moe moe anyways, it's kinda stupid). Characters like Haibara and Vermouth are also so very cool (yet a part of them are fragile...). I guess I just don't like the fact that all the guy characters steal all the limelight and the attention of all the girls *facepalm*. Well except maybe Kaito KID...he can have all the girls...and boys (and robots too if you feel like it). Well to tell you the truth...mostly I like RanxAi because it's so troll 8D.

The fact that Sera doesn't know about "Kudou" is interesting. It seems she only recently know about Kudou Shinichi. I'm sure after that last case her detective senses are making the connection... though not yet. So she used to be in America but she "rebelled and came back to the place where she was born and raised". It could be that her parents didn't want her to come back to Japan because it's dangerous for her then. *makes note that her mom has big boobs, but then a heck load of older woman have big boobs in this manga xD* She definitely wants to meet Conan, it could be that she just wants to know how things are in Japan since he solved so many cases, she sure the hell doesn't believe Kogoro solved them : ).

Satou/Takagi! So cuteeeee >w< They're like my (canon) favorite pairing in DC! Hahah KaiShin is practically canon so I guess they're second (lol). Their personalities match up very well it's hilarious. ShinRan (friendship) is pretty awesome too :3.

Ai! A fragile heart at the beginning but she grew so strong <3. Her scenes with Conan make me laugh so hard xD. But then I'm a RanxAi fan at heart so it's hard to chose xD

I was surprised by this case. I didn't expect a serious case after an introduction of a new character. That is, if this is a serious case : ). I'm not sure how this will bring back Ran's suspicion plot, but I do see how Sera will gather more evidence via this case. I'm actually pretty positive she has all the evidence she needs, so this case might reveal something else... Can't wait for the translation so we can all talk about this case together.

During the halloween case Heiji sent a message back to Conan with hearts in it, that made me laugh so hard xD. During one of the early Heiji cases when Conan asks why Heiji was there Heiji answered "To see you <3", to which Conan answered by pointing his stun gun watch at him xD. There was this episode where this guy was trying to take Ran hostage. It went something like this. Guy: Don't move or this girl get it! Conan + Kogoro: Ahhh don't do that!! She's really stro- Ran: *looks fierce and punches/kicks the guy unconscious* Ran: *turns around* Ahhhh that was so scary! D8 Conan + Kogoro: .__. errr...yeah (what's scary is you!) Can't remember exactly, but I thought that was funny xD. I laugh at a lot of Kogoro moments too, Kogoro is so funny xD. During the Akemi case there was this detective that has really girly long eyelashes eyes. The face Conan and Kogoro make is hilarious xD (Ran smacking them is hilarious too xD). I miss the old Gosho humor...

Haha I actually did dig around the chapters looking for the boss name as well. I didn't have much luck ^^; What you said about Kogoro is interesting. I actually suspected Eri's father, since he appeared in a frame ^^. I hope not, that would be quite bad for Ran and would read like bad fanfiction ; ). But then I don't believe the boss showed up before either. Unless Gosho mean the boss is "night baron". Unknown until the author tells you
