I think James Black or Agasa for one reason: their connection to the western world. Most, if not all, BO members have some sort of western personality trait, so to speak. Gin has a Porsche, Vermouth was born American, Sherry is half British, etc. If James Black is the boss, he is also an American. If Agasa is the boss, he has a classic yellow VW. That's just my theory.

I'll crop it better when I get the chance. I'm also lazy.

Wow, I never noticed that! It was blocked a bit by everything else going one, and the green is barely visible. But it is the same thing. You're right, it probably is just a flashback. Though I wonder how a Tropical Land flashback will tie in with the movie. Hopefully it will be a bit like M-4, because that flashback was great and it tied in amazingly with the rest of the movie. I don't want a stupid flashback like in M-13, where Ran remembers Shinichi telling her about the bullet speeds and her later dodging Irish's bullet. That was stupid. But I'm expecting a lot from this movie. It better not be a disappointment!

I think he's decently talented, but I think that people make too big of a deal out of him. He sings well, but so many people have good voices, too. What's so good about him? He's okay, in my opinion. I've heard better.

I noticed that, too! I guess this was due to the fact that Ran was stuck the park while Conan was running around trying to solve the case. They never got to see each other much. But it was a nice movie anyway!

True, I also agree that they make Peter look a bit too good. But the movies have always been great. Especially the action and the suspense and the climaxes at the end. They always please me. I'm hoping this will be the same story. I'm looking foward to it.

But shouldn't she want to act cool, calm, and collected to make it look like it would be no big deal to kill off Akai? If she acted shocked and scared, then Gin might suspect that she isn't 100% loyal to the BO. If she acted cold hearted and took the "assassination" in stride, then wouldn't that make Gin less likely to suspect she has any lasting connection with the FBI? And if all what you say is true, I think she took a huge risk in having Gin pretty much suspect her the moment they got her back. That's just what I think.
