I was pretty hyped when I first heard about this series. Geez, how times have changed. Now watching these episodes seems more like chore rather something I'd do leisurely. They're recycling way too many episodes and I'm still appalled by the lack of effort put into the art. I'm really not in the mood to watch this episode yet, so I guess I'll use it as a procrastination tool when I don't feel like doing my English homework. Better yet, I think I'll use this as motivation to do my English homework rather than wasting time watching it.

Just got back from an orchestra concert. We screwed up the ensemble on the Shostakovich piece for a few measures, but our conductor didn't seem to have a problem with it, so 's all good. Considering that we had to prepare around five new pieces the week before the concert, I'd say we did pretty well.

Having long nails means flattening your fingers so that your nails don't "clash" with the strings--which really limits how much you can vibrato. Since this doesn't seem to bother you, I'll assume that you use arm vibrato? I have a very prominent wrist vibrato so I have to cut my nails on a regular basis whether I want to or not. Either way, this doesn't affect me much since long nails make me feel icky anyway, lol.

what the... I really dislike having long nails. I keep poking at them and they make vibrato a huge pain.

I actually like Conan more than Shinichi. Yeah, they are technically the same person. But as Conan, he doesn't carry as much arrognce because he's in the position where he has to create a childlike facade--making it less likely for him to boss around everyone for the sake of his huge detective ego. Think of "Conan" as a way of keeping the inner Shinichi in check.

nah, don't let me ruin it for you. A lot of people thought the show was a masterpiece, so follow your own impressions, I suppose. Akise was one of my favorite characters in the show by the way. Favorites are Fifth and Ninth.

Actually, I was saying it in the sense that your parents (shockingly) enjoy these endeavors. Not many parents indulge in anime or video games, so that was a surprise is all.

Geez, really? Even though the premise was great, the ending of Mirai Nikki was awful. I only watched it because a friend of mine recommended it to me before he finished it.

lol, I'm not sure why there are heated debated about whether Gosho supports ConAi or ShinRan. These people can wallow in their fantasies how ever they want, but it's too damn obvious who's going to end up together.
