I don't know why Cave Story and Super Meat Boy aren't as popular as some of the other games. Cave Story is one of the best indie games out there even though it's fairly short. It's one of those games where your decisions can actually change the plot. Super Meat Boy is also a fantastic platform game. It's much better than Super Mario Bros in my opinion.

I feel a little empty now that my Fridays no longer have Korra. With that said, the finale was incredible. Especially the last scene. Oh. my. goodness. spoiler for those who haven't watched it Also, holy geezus the fight choreography was phenomenal. Season 4 easily takes the cake for my favorite season of Korra.

Okay, rant time: I'm wondering why the hell Pixlr decided to incorporate advertisements into their program. As an avid user for many years, I am extremely ticked off by this implementation. The reason why Pixlr became so popular was because it was a fantastic alternative to Photoshop. I know I shouldn't be complaining because it is their program and they have the right to do whatever they want with it. I just think it's outrageous how every time I need to use it, I have to have this monstrous advertisement glaring at me now. Actually, it's not the advertisement that's irritating me--it's the fact that the ad covers one third of the page. Honestly, this is ridiculous; them trying to exploit the program for ad revenue in the most obvious manner possible. Gosh, it's such a waste of space. I seriously never thought they would stoop this low. It basically feels like a slap in the face saying, "hey, this is our program and we only appreciate you for the ad revenue so suck it up." It's sad to see a lot of programs and websites fall victim to this. I normally don't mind ads, but when they become this distracting, I get really ticked off. Couldn't they have at least made the ad less obvious? Of course, I could always resort to Photoshop, but as Pixlr used to be my main photo editing program, this change was something I was not ready for. sorry for the rant, I just needed to get that out of my system.

Geez, they really went all out with the game's soundtrack, didn't they? This is such a huge step up from the original theme and I absolutely love the choir that they added. The remix kinda reminds me of the One Winged Angel theme from Final Fantasy even though they sound nothing alike. it was probably the choir. but the choir can make any soundtrack sound hella good.

Suicides can bring the most athletic of people down to their hands and knees. I cringe even thinking about it. -- I'm actually somewhat against grammar nazis. I could go on a huge rant about this, but it seems like fruitless effort I'm not willing to put myself through at the moment.

That's like saying Explorer is better than Chrome because it came before Chrome. I'm not going to take a firm stance on this issue since this topic can be argued effectively both ways. Holmes might be better in that he's the more realistic detective. Shinichi might be better in that he solves cases at a much faster rate. It all depends on preference, really.

not really, lol Japanese originated from Chinese. You mean Chinglish? Why not? It really helps fill in the gaps that I can't fill using the other language. Saying something like "I want 辣椒 (làjiāo)" has a different connotation than the literal translation "I want pepper" since 辣椒 is really flexible in its meaning. Plus, my parents and I have a mutual understanding of Chinglish, so it's all good in this household. -- I wish I wouldn't feel compelled to say snippets of Japanese in my everyday language. "大丈夫!"

welp, I just finished The Great Gatsby. It wasn't a bad book since the Fitzgerald obviously put a lot of effort into the symbolism and did a good job portraying the American dream. It just didn't appeal to me and I almost feel stupid for not understanding why people like this book so much.
