Yeah I guess so,with the two movies(Lupin and Movie 18) and the Shinran file for DC birthday,it's normal that he didn't have the time to draw a new Ai pic for christmas.

I really find it very unlikely to have 2 Okiya,for me all the clues showed that Okiya is Akai and nobody else.Haibara senses that he's Akai. As for the second brother maybe we'll get some clues after the Shinichi flashback case.

Sigh...I guess I'm the only one who wants to see Ai taking the antidote in the end...If the BO is destroyed she doesn't need to stay as a child.

She can live with Agasa without staying as a child.after all the Db already met her as Shiho once,so she can take care of them in her real form.I imagine her helping Shinichi during his cases (like in movie 17).It would be nice for her to work for the good side,to show how much she changed.

Maybe their dads were friends...I really doubt they are related but Okiya seems to get along with Shinichi's mom so well,he may have met her in the past.

Maybe there is a connection between Akai's family and the BO,but I personally think that the father was a FBI agent and got killed by the BO,then the whole family had to change their name and went to the USA.I guess Shuichi wanted to destroy the BO who killed his father(like Jodie does). Anyway I remember that Gosho said once that Ai and Sera are wolves...IIRC Akai always names BO members as "wolves",so maybe there is a deeper link between the Akais and the BO.

I personally only liked her in the Vermouth arc,she was fantastic,but after that,I kinda lost interest on her...during the Kir arc I thought she relied too much on Akai and was in his shadow... now it became worse when she gave info to a perfect stranger (who was Bourbon in reality),so I join Chek's opinion.

I really don't think so...Haibara recognized okiya as Akai("don't make that kind of face") ,and Okiya knows many details about Ai,so him being the brother is unlikely.All the clues points to Okiya=Akai.

I think the same as you...She have some qualities that i like(fighting,detective skills...)but I have the feeling Gosho forces us to like her,he over uses her and that makes her a bit annoying IMO. Actually the first reason why I'm really interested in her is because she's Shuichi's sister,and that really add something to Akai's character...And also she may get important in the BO plot so I'm really curious about that...and also I would like to see interactions between Ai and Sera. But I'm not a fan of Sera as a character for now...maybe I'll like her when we'll know more about her family and past. I personally think we already have a lot of good characters (Ran,Ai,Akai...),and a lot of mystery that still unsolved,so I wish Gosho would focus on the main characters instead of adding new characters and new mysteries.

She was a half Japanes,half American girl...She even hide her hair because her japanese classmate were laughing at her. So I think that if the mystery girl is the brother,then the father may be American,or maybe half japanese.
