I'm sick of all these childhood friend.a Mother-child relationship is more interesting. Anyway,it seems like Amuro didn't have a lot of friends as a child,he seems to fight a lot with the other kids.Poor Amuro.

I don't see why it would be interesting that he was Akemi childhood friend...but if he was close to Ai's mother,he might give us some info about her and her researches... I wonder if that's the reason why he didn't want to kill Sherry in the MT case.

I think that after the MT case,Amuro has doubts about Akai's death,which is why he's still around Mouri and Conan...I guess the case with Jodie(shrine case) confirmed that there are weird things about Akai's death.So he asked help to Vermouth since she's good at deguise,in order to clear up the Akai thing. Of course there is also the promise between them,which I think is to not warm the Mouri,or Conan during his mission.But besides that I really don't think there is a deeper connection between Amuro and Vermouth's aim. They both have their own secrets.I bet Amuro's reason for hating Akai has something to do with Date.

Exactly what I think...the MT case was supposed to be centered on Okiya/Sera/Bourbon and Shiho,and Kid kinda stole their spotlight. Btw Okiya latest apparance was last year(the delivery case),I miss him so much...I hope we'll see him soon.

I read the first volume and I didn't want to continue XDXD but I'm more trusting Gosho than fan speculation...

XDXD many fans were disappointed to see him in the end of that case(Me first,because I was expecting to see more of Shiho).Hopefully Gosho said he won't include Kid into BO case,which is a good thing IMO because they belong to different universes,they just don't mix together well.

there is the whole translation about the Haibara/DB conversation in DCTP...Conan is so evil in this file XDXD @phantomlady:actually I started to dislike Kid because of the MT case,XDXD.I think involving Kid a this BO case was a horrible idea.

I think she can relates to Higo...For me it's just admiration,I'm not expecting a AixHigo ending because there are no interactions between them,but who know... At least he's a model for her,so it's a way for her to change for the best,she knows it's possible to be loved and change her destiny if she wants to.

Akemi died is Conan's arms,so I really doubt she's still alive,unlike Akai. I also like Akemi but in terms of personality she's just like Ran,so I'm not really interested to see a long flashback with her,except if we learn more about her parents,and their work... Concerning the PS,I guess it's "please protect my sister,she'll help you to take down the BO",or something like that...

I voted another choice...I'm a big fan of GinxSherry and ShihoxSubaru. i used to be an Aicon fan,and I still love their interactions,but Conan is just obessed with Ran so I kind of gave up on them as a couple. the other couples are boring IMO,except YukikoxYusaku. I guess I'm becoming too old to appreciate simple parings that are in DC XDXD I prefer complex relationships

True... Which is also why i want her to revert back to Shiho Miyano...no more lying,no fake identity,and she would definitly put an end to the drug existence.

I guess I have a different opinion because I'm a real Ai/shiho fan...the average fans don't mind if she stay as a child,but I'm expecting much more for her,in terms of character development.

the problem is that we didn't see much of Shiho...I wish Gosho will draw some Shiho's pics from her past in the BO. And since Ai has changed in her mind,returning to her old body won't erase her cuteness IMO. @Thatlee:I agree with you,I want Gosho to develop Ai's character,because there is a lot of potential.We still have to know things about the drug,her parents,her past with Akemi and Akai,her relationship with Gin...there are still mysteries around her so I guess she'll become more active in the future.Right now Gosho is focusing on the the Akai family,so the other characters are left behind.

@ThatLee4 Yeah I think Ai will find the antidote before the final showdown against the BO...that's my feeliing...they would be more efficient if theyfight the Bo using their adult body. However,I agree for Ai and Conan to tell the the truth to the Db,but not taking them to the battle against the BO...that would be too dangerous,and that wouldn't make sense. Even if Ai and Conan takes the antidote,it doesn't mean they'll disappear from the DB's life...the DB will still be close to Ran,Agasa,Shinichi..;

i agree with the last part... but I don't understand why people think she can't stay with the professor,AND take the antidote.She could still be happy,act like a big sister for the DB,hanging out with Ran,Sonoko and Shinichi, and taking care of Agasa like Ran is doing with Kogoro.At least she would be more independant than as a child,help financially the professor,being able to defend herself without the need of protection...this is what would be a great ending for Ai. I remember Ai always reminds Conan that she's not a child,which is true,so what's the point to lie to people around her if there is no danger anymore?
