Character development and BO plot (and Ai of course^^)

Moreover if Okiya is there that means Akai is still in deguise so there is a huge possibility he will appear in a flashback or something like that. I find it weird that the movie features Sera and Akai while the revelation about Shuichi's death didn't happen in the manga yet.The timing isn't right for me. Anyway thanks for the info BD^^ And yes the poster is just awesome^^ I really missed Shuichi so I'm glad there is finally a movie centered around him^^

I think many fans want to see the end before they get married and have children,like me for example XDXD I don't think I'll follow DC in the future as much as I do now...and after so many years,I'm tired of solving cases,only the BO plot keeps my interest,while at the begining I liked DC only for the cases...I'm afraid that if DC don't end soon I'll lose my interest on it.That doesn't mean I don't like DC...

ok I understand what you mean...I know many people don't like Ai because she is a "danger" for Shinran couple,not taking care of her character development.We should separate the characters analysis from the pairing. I personally use to dislike Ran mostly because of her relationship with Shin,but then I dropped all the pairing war to focus on Ran as a character and she's Ok to me.I just wish Gosho to make more effort on Ran as an individual an not only as Shinichi lover. Concerning Ai and Agasa not telling the truth to Ran,well I agree it's a stupid idea (it was Agasa's idea in the first place),but Ai did let a choice to Conan (in Volume 26),it's not like she forced him to continue to lie. I don't think Gosho will change the story even if there are more Aicon fans than Shinran...I remember he said once in an intereview that Aicon is impossible.Gosho is aware that Ai is more popular than Ran but his favorite couple is still Shinran ...so it would be weird for him to change everything now that Shinichi confessed to Ran.

Ai had a crush on Conan but I think it's not the case anymore..On the contrary she's doing everything for him to be with Ran (London case for example),which shows she really appreciate him but not in a romantic way. I was an Aicon but I kinda gave up on this couple because Conan clearly said he loves Ran,I don't have any hope for them as a couple,but I still think Ai and Conan have more interesting interactions than ShinRan.I really enjoy seeing Ai and Conan talking even if it's only friendship it's ok. I really hope Ai will be with someone who'll love her for real in the end.

Well at least she has flaws and she's trying to change for good...she's a perfect girl like the other characters in DC(Ran,Shinichi...) oh and almost all the characters depends on Conan/Shinichi when it comes to cases

I agree with you,I think it's pretty clear now that Shinichi confessed to Ran,so even if I love Aicon interactions they will never be in a couple. Moreover I think Haibara deserves a better guy than Shinichi,a real man like Akai XDXD. And concerning Sera I think it's pointless to make her fall in love with Shinichi,especially after his confession to Ran.It will ruin Sera's character IMO.

His hair color could be the same as Ai,who is half japanese,so I guess it's not a problem...

@Sonoko: Well that's my opinion for now,I'm glad you like it ^^ Of course there are a lot of things we don't know concerning APTX so the child could have taken the drug developped by Ai's parents. Concerning Amuro,I doubt he get into the BO at 13,we never saw that kind of history in DC...That's why I think he grew up inside the Org like Ai and Akemi.But of course everything is possible with Gosho.

@Sonoko: I think the brother was forced by the BO to take APTX,exactly like Shinichi in vol1.He may have been drugged right after Shinichi,because Ai said in her introduction case that Shinichi was the only person who survived to APTX,the other were dead.And then Ai said that the BO could still use the drug,so there is a risk to meet other shrunken people...(all of this was in vol18 IIRC) Of course it could be the drug developped by her parents,but I don't think it was that efficient...In the Pisco case,Pisco was impressed that Sherry developped the drug that much to the point of turning into a child.Which makes me think the only drug that could shrink people at the moment is APTX... As for Amuro,he apperently met Ai's sister and parents,however they died when Shiho was a baby,so I guess that means Amuro grew up in the BO,it wasn't his choice to work for them. He was a BO member when her went to the police academy and met Date.So I think he's supposed to be a bad guy,but with a more human side than Gin or Vermouth...

I think the drug used by the child is APTX developped by Sherry,but it has a different effect on the child because she's sick...So her sickness may have changed the APTX side effects which shrunk her into a middle school girl,instead of a 7 years old child.

Maybe Sherry means the mysterious girl looks like her in terms of her behaviour,and not physically...

Yeah I read that too,I guess it's true...But I'm quite surprised that she's a bigger character than Akai or Vermouth,according Gosho's word. Anyway it's not a reason to give her so much spotlight...I'm getting an overdose of Sera lately XDXD We almost forgot Okiya,and Conan isn't even worried about Bourbon,that's a shame... @Alaktorn:it's really interesting,so the child could also be Sera's mother who took APTX...I personally prefer that theory... but it seems that the brother is more likely the child.

Akai has more skills concerning spying people than Conan,and he may have more efficient,discreet listening device than the ones made by Agasa... Anyway the theory about the shrunken brother makes sense to me...He could have been forced to take APTX from the BO,and then he tries to hide his identity by deguising as a girl.So when Conan try to investigate on him,Sera will just say it's her "little sister". The territory thing reminds me Okiya's words...I kinda miss him...

Gosho said he likes childhood friend pairings because it's easy to write.I can understand that.But I have to say they are not really entertaining in my opinion,in the way Gosho develops them.Moreover they aren't realistic,seriously I don't know many lovers who were childhood friends. Anyway,I also agree with everything The Black Demon said^^

I hope so.Gosho said in his interview that a big BO case will happen in 2014.
