Akira Yoshimura (吉村 章 Yoshimura Akira?) is a Japanese storyboard artist and animation director. He is often credited as "𠮷村あきら".

Biography

Yoshimura first started to involve animation-related job in 1994. Starting with the 2nd part of The Witch Enshrouded by Fog, he began to work for the Detective Conan anime; and has done episode directing for single episodes, until present. Moreover, Yoshimura usually works under the episodes done by TMS Entertainment, and specifically the ones which Nobuyuki Iwai, Kenichi Otomo, and Asuka Tsubuki are the animation directors. He also began to serve as storyboard artist after The Broken Fishbowl.
