While playing hide and seek, Ayumi goes into the trunk of a car, which speeds off before the game is over. In there, she discovers the head of a dead girl!

Manga to anime changes
- While searching for Ayumi, the boys notice Inspector Megure in a patrol car. After they find Ayumi, they see Inspector Megure pass by in the patrol car again, this time with a criminal. Both of these moments are anime-only.
Remastered version
On June 27, 2009, a remastered version of the case was aired.
