Plot
Situation
The daily routine of Rei Furuya, who works at Poirot cafe as Tooru Amuro start early in the morning. He arrive first at Poirot, prepare things, fix the chair and replace the lamp. He also expect people to order iced coffee. Later, Azusa arrives, and Poirot cafe is open.
Azusa tells Amuro that the Poirot owner says that people in Kanto will start drinking more iced coffee if the temperature is over 30 degrees Celcius in the summer. She also says that somehow her slight cold and sore throat has been cure after coming to Poirot.
Reiko Tsuruyama, one of the cafe regular, arrives late. She also prefer water over her favorite coffee. Amuro then notice something and give her a glass of hot water. She then reveals to Azusa that she just came from hospital and was thinking to take some medicine.
Closing time has arrived. Azusa asks Amuro if he want some pasta, and he prefer a small portion since he has made some new dessert and suggests that they try it together. Azusa then ask if he prefer bread for breakfast, judging from his blonde appearance. Amuro responses that Azusa should dig deeper for that, to Azusa says that she is not a detective, before they laugh together.
Later, Azusa wonder how Amuro managed to work at Poirot, while being Kogoro's apprentice and detective. Hearing that, Amuro says in his mind that he learn all of them to reach a single goal.
From Poirot, Rei goes to NPA training center, where he and Kazami are practising shooting. He notices that Kazami's shot is off target. He advices Kazami to periodically maintain his gun. He then let Kazami try again. Kazami successfully make on-target shot, but he finds no one, except the slowly closing door.
That night, Rei maintains his gun. On his desk, there are a picture of Akai, Conan, and Sherry. He later prepare himself as Bourbon. As he walks to his car, he claims that he can act as a hundred faces, that he always think about Akai, and wonder if he could forget him. He later wears a pass ring and drives his car.
