After drinking with a friend who hasn't met for ten years, Kogoro falls asleep on a train and awakens to find himself a person that is willing to go on a date with him. When she stops at home though, she finds a person murdered and causes Kogoro and Conan to start seeking out whether she's guilty or if someone else is involved.

- This nearly was a case Kogoro solved awake; however, due to him slipping and falling, Conan had to take over.
- This is one of the few cases that Conan solves as The Sleeping Kogoro without using his Stun-Gun Wristwatch to knock him out, as Kogoro manages to get knocked out by mistake from slipping and hitting his head.
