Inside the building, Conan, Ran, and Sonoko notice Jirokichi’s conversation with Inspector Nakamori explaining his newest tactic against Kaitou Kid: Humidity. As he takes both Nakamori and Conan to show them the exhibition room in the sky, he introduces the people of the company behind the expansion to the two detectives: The president and a technical director of Kichida Manufacturing, Yotaro Kichida and Masuo Kase, respectively.
Just as the people of Kichida Manufacturing finish their testing of the security appliances, the power of the tower is suddenly cut.
