tengaku squared Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 I really like the first ranking, but maybe include police detective before high school detective, as well as famous detective and Holmes after the ranking detective. for instance: 0 posts and more => Novice10 posts and more => Detective boy50 posts and more => Police Detective75 posts and more => High-school detective100 posts and more => Detective200 posts and more => Famous Detective500 posts and more => Sherlock Holmes Don't you mean Meitantei? :-D When I quote lists, why do they turn out like jumbles above?
Detective Kudo Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 Don't you mean Meitantei? :-D When I quote lists, why do they turn out like jumbles above? haha! yea i guess your right :grin:
tengaku squared Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 If you're talking about an icon for Genta's friend, I think Cheesus got something in his profile.
Monsi Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 Go to the settings.... Go to settings and umm... there'd be a box saying 'Member Title'. I couldn't find it...
Scar Akai Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 I couldn't find it... oww? It's at the place where |¤¤Û¤¤| edit чöü name and all Ŧђǎт... Below it, there's the box with the title 'member's title'
tengaku squared Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 oww? It's at the place where |¤¤Û¤¤| edit чöü name and all Ŧђǎт... Below it, there's the box with the title 'member's title' The box under mine says "Manage notes". Anyway, is there any more posts about this subject?
Scar Akai Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Settings >Forum(the middle one among th 3 at the top) The box should be there
tengaku squared Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Um...now I'm truly confused. Settings > Forums is the last one in the settings. Settings > Profile is the middle one. And there isn't any box.
Scar Akai Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Oops.... Sorry... It's profile.... Then there is the profile information.the box is under Ŧђǎт section
tengaku squared Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 It's not there. Maybe its exclusive to you?

Officer Kaoko Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 I couldn't find it... Owww ... Maybe you'd have to have a certain number of reputation and stars. You have 5 stars in your profile and 2 points of reputation. Ummm... or we have to ask Maurice .
Monsi Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 It's not there. I think I'll just ask Maurice for that. Thanks for the help, anyway, guys.
Maurice Posted January 16, 2011 Author Report Posted January 16, 2011 Alright, to answer everyone's question here (and to get back to the original topic ), here's why you can't change your member title: You need to have at least 500 posts to be allowed to change your member title. Let's just say it's a cool privilege reserved to dedicated and active forum members. (it would be much less special if anyone could just register and have funky member titles when they haven't yet contributed much to the forum). Now, back on topic please? ^^;

Cheesus Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 Agreed ^ I also think there should maybe some Holmes References?
tengaku squared Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 Agreed ^ I also think there should maybe some Holmes References? For example: 0 --> Rookie 1-15 --> Watson? and so on?
Cheesus Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 yes something like that. Ex: Holmes Apprentice
tengaku squared Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Have you considered giving members of DCW awards? Ex: Wiki Work Award... There's a lot of people on this forum now.
CarpetCrawler Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Have you considered giving members of DCW awards? Ex: Wiki Work Award... There's a lot of people on this forum now. To be honest, I think awards would only make people post unnecessary stuff just for the sake of winning an award. It would have to be organized really well for that to happen.
Cheesus Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 But what if their were Multiple awards given per month? Ex: Best Manga Updater : "name" and so on. People dont have to know what the awards are based on so then some people may feel motivated to edit alot more or something along those lines.
