Would you prefer if DC had a happy ending ?

I'm actually more concerned about how the final showdown will be executed than the ending itself. Like, really worried. Especially when Gosho tends to write cases with a really hyped opening yet anti-climatic ending at times.

He already planned out the ending scene, apparently that was what Aoyama-sensei said. So I guess we can just wait and everything should connect.

I just want all the secrets to be revealed..

I want more suspense and thrilling plots towards the end..

I also want a happy ending..

I can actually imagine the death of some characters that kind of sacrifice themselves for the sake of others. Maybe Agasa, but it would be too crazy... I could also see Ai doing that.

 

I actually think that sad endings are what makes a story memorable and special, but in the case of DC I find it hard to wish that because I have followed the characters for so long and actually care about story continuing so I will have to make an exception here. 

 

But I do believe that Gosho will bring some character veryyy close to death and make us believe it they are indeed dead, only to bring them back with some bad survival explanation. It's also possible he ends it by killing off a newly introduced character that noboy really started liking as much as the others. Really anything is fine I just wanna see the ending before I die.

i never flinch when some character ( that has been in the show for some time ) is in danger 

if i had to to assume who will fight with him then my guess is Agasa, Ai, FBI, Kir.

No DB, no Ran, I think that some will be taken by the FBI and some by the police.

But i would love it if Kogoro was in the mix

I don't see Gosho Aoyama having the guts to end the series on a somber note. Even the most 'dark' cases are pretty tame in comparison to other anime in the mystery/detective genre. I'll be glad to be proven wrong though and have him throw a curveball at the very end.

Speaking of endings is there any word on when this series is supposed to end? I'm on about episode 300 and I just want Ran to know that Conan is Shinichi. They can keep it going on after that, but why you do dis ta me? End it....

I can't help myself much of thinking how should DC would end. I just want it to end long time ago. I feel like I've been wating since forever for Ran to know the truth about Conan, for him to revert back as Shinichi, to know why Vermouth keeps his secret and why she wants to take down BO. Other things are not trivial to me more than these.

All I want for ending is for Ran and Shinichi end up together, with BO taken down (which seems near impossible, I just feel like it) and Ran knowing that Shinichi has been always with him as Conan. That would make me happy and I could care less what happens to others.
