^That was me in the bathroom a few nights ago.  Sometimes, when I'm really tired and this happens, I nonchalantly prop up a chair and smack it with a slipper, only to come to my senses and realize the magnitude of what I've done a few minutes later.  Then I know I've stayed up so late that my nerves had fried.
