I wouldn't want to be either of them. But if I had to choose... Conan. He had a life before getting shrunk (Haibara's life doesn't really count as 'life'.) and had a lover who's still waiting for him. He'll do anything to stay alive just to come back for her. He can let go of his fears just by thinking about that. Of course, the fears aren't erased and he's always feeling regretful, but I'd rather be that than Haibara.

For me, my preference between who I like better between Ran and Ai changes quite a bit, but it doesn't change my pairing at all. I guess Ai is more like me in personality, so I should sympathize with her, but I've also gone through a weird love turmoil that involved some boy I used to be best friends with stalking me even though I told him to stop. I hate him now, but I guess it could sort of relate me to Ran....? I don't know, but just imagining being in either of their shoes makes me want to switch from time to time...

It might. Unfortunately, my time is limited so I only have like, 5, 10 minutes a day. Expect the list sometime in summer... But currently, the most suspicious on my list is Agasa... I've hardly gotten through the first volume... (I've been listing suspicious aspects of each person. Remember Asou the butler? Him too... And Akiko...)

Well, there's a couple chapters where Conan lets go of his poker face (yes he has one) and just lets out his feelings. I forget the chapter, but there was one where he was talking about how bad he feels about leaving Ran to Ai. Hmm... Give me a while to find it.

Granted, but you get tons of homework in every other subject. I wish that I could finish my HeiShin fic. (it's on my iTouch, and that's where I'm typing it...)

Before I got my beta, I didn't really care much for them either. But once LostintheDreams started looking over stuff, I swear my writing has become so much better. *compares chapter 30 to current chapter* Definitely better. A beta (a good one) does more than edit, they give helpful advice that become essential to me. For example, my beta has been able to find things I haven't in my research about medical topics such as *cough* gun wounds and memory loss to make it more realistic. I'd suggest getting on, they make everything so much better. I'd be willing to beta for you if you want to try it. I already beta for Moho-kun. PM me if you're interested. I like Ai cuz her personality is more like mine, and I guess the guy we like is similar. (asian, short, smart, sometimes wears glasses, knows tons about weird subjects...) But if there was someone he really obviously liked, I would let go of my infatuation. Because Shinichi's love for Ran is unbreakable. But I like Ran better.

Probably, but most people realize they didn't put enough info in their first intro.

The way Haibara teases Conan is pretty annoying. I prefer Ran because she's the easiest to relate to.

Sorry, we'll get back on track. *cough cough* I think Ran is better for Shinichi than Haibara because what Haibara has done, however unintentionally, is unforgivable.
