  8. "I'm so sorry to drop in and interrupt this oh so heartfelt moment..but..." Almost immediately, out of thin air, Rex appeared in the very same room. Without giving his victims even a second to react, he tossed a syringe to Kei. "It's a victory prize. For managing to beat me. That poison I gave Nero isn't completely out of his system. This is the only antidote." While Kei began to apply the antidote, he turned around, back to the three, and began to walk. "Regretfully, this Nero's friends...are already within my possession. See, I am quite capable of diplomacy as well. No blood was shed in this transcation, which is probably good for both of us." Then, he whirled around again, quick as a flash, pistol in his hand. Then he vanished, his coat drifting on the air, and before his coat touched the ground, his arm was already around Nero's neck. At this point, his face gave a scornful expression. He wagged his finger. "You have a long way to go. As you can plainly see..." and his words were interrupted by gunshot. From Kei. Then Rex reappeared behind Kei, still holding Nero hostage, and kicked him, causing him to fall onto the floor. He continued, "...Nero is now within my possession. If you want him back, simply meet me at the place where the faithful giant erupts at midnight. I will then return Nero and the rest at that location. Sensing doubt, Rex smirked. "There is no trickery or deception within this offer." And then he disappeared with Nero. A/N: Rex isn't one to fall for a decoy, especially at close-range. The Nero he holds hostage is the real Nero. And I promise Rex will not kill Nero before or during the transaction.
  9. "Now. How was that imitation?" "Just perfect. Stealth wings...pssh. You could hear those from a mile away. And they sure as hell didn't stand a chance against a machine gun. By now, that's guy's dead for sure." The teen laid back on the seat. "Kei...the number one Organization assassin. What a joke. They already forgot about me. How standards have fallen." The pilot turns around. "Whoa, wait. I think I heard of you during my time in the Organization." The teen smirked. "Yup, that's me. The legendary Rex, with over 4,000 people killed within a year's time. Of course, all untraceable. Only that Mark had more kills on his record, with 6,700, and he did that in 3 years time. Mind you, some of those kills were very sloppy." The pilot turns back around, obviously shocked. Rex kept that arrogant smirk on his face. "Hell, even if the whole Organization came after me, they'd all come home bruised...or dead." The other teen in the back quirked, "For someone so all that, you let Nero be rescued." Rex merely shook his head. "That poison I gave him wasn't any ordinary poison that can be pumped out of the blood. It has a hundred percent chance of killing the subject. You know why? That poison is a two hit combo. One, obviously, attempts to deprive the body of oxygen. The other is the real punch line, if you pardon my saying so. The poison reprograms every blood cell in the target's body that's currently present and will be created later to self-destruct in 24 hours. This damage is unrepairable. Which of course, makes it so that even if the blood is replaced, new "bad blood" takes its place. And best of all, no resistance shot in the world can prepare for it." He then leans forward, and says to the pilot: "Switch to jet mode, please." The pilot wordlessly presses a few knobs on the controls, then pulls a hidden lever back all the way. The helicopter shuddered in the air as wings grew out of the sides, the rotor was moved backwards, and engines deployed from the newly created wings. "Lift up." And the helicopter turned jet soared into the sky. A/N: Think Rex was easy to kill? Think again. Now Kei's dead. Like Rex said, even the whole Organization isn't a match for him. So...what you gonna do now?

  14. "Oh, you're still awake? Pesky little one." And with a sharp kick, Nero falls unconcious. The teen pulls out a syringe with a mysterious purple liquid. Aimlessly twirling it within his fingers, he tears the restraining rags to expose Nero's neck. "Yes...you've killed too many people. You've sinned countless times. Without remorse, you attempt to escape the iron hammer that will seal your fate, and the black obsidian gates that will forever confine you within the deepest depths of Hell itself. Now...fall under melancholy sleep...forever!" With that, the syringe plunges into Nero's neck, and within seconds his body went cold. The teen stood over the cold corpse for a few moments. "Don't worry," a frown began to etch onto his face, "we'll take good care of the rest. Better than you could ever do." He motioned to the pilot to set the helicopter to hover. Upon doing so, he hurls the door open, then unceremoniously throws Nero off, several feet to his inevitable death, as if Nero was nothing but a bag of worthless rock, or a pile of garbage that needed to be thrown away.
  15. He pulled up on his motorcycle, only to see the whole car enveloped in a pinkish gas. "Damn it. So it didn't work." He shrugged off the oddly shaped blue bag he had slung over his shoulder till now. From it, he provided a large, bulky, rocket launcher. "Well, I never wanted to resort to Plan B, but here goes nothing." The sound that came out from the launcher was a sweet, swooshing release that greatly contrasted the huge explosion that blew the car upside down, doors open. Once the teen confirmed there was no one around (he made sure the two men from the excavation crew were sent elsewhere forever), he threw a red flare near the car. Then he waited. And waited. Eventually, a monstrous helicopter came from the sky. Hovering just shy of the car, two teens dropped out. One of them immediately went to the car, and pulled out all the passengers of the car. Upon noticing the driver, and only the driver was dead, he kicked the driver's body aside. The teen also kicked Nero's unconscious body, then wrapped the remaining passengers in white rags, then began to load them into the helicopter. The other teen walked over to the teen with the motorcycle. "Resorted to the alternate plan, eh?" "Yup. It's flashy," was the response. "Anyways, what do we do with," he gestures over to the teens being loaded into the helicopter, "them?" "Nero...we kill once we get to base. The others we interrogate, then we wipe their memory of all that's happened. They'll be back to their ordinary, happy, lives." "You make it sound like a happy ending." "It is a happy ending. Nero dies, and we get more people out of the conflict. Heck, I can't decide which I like better." Note: The wording of the story may be a tad confusing. Nero IS loaded into the helicopter with the others.
  16. "If you pick them [flowers], I'll kill you!" "If you kill me, I'll pick them!" <3 this conversation.
