  1. Jackson froze. "I never heard of Cyrus but...did you say T? You met T?!" He stopped, then took a breath to calm himself down. "For those of you who may not know, T is the leader of the Intelligence Services. The I.S themselves are a weapon-making organization, or so they say. The Intelligence Services themselves are no joke; one of their soldiers can take out a dozen of us. And T is their leader, and is, from my knowledge, the strongest ability user in the entire world." "I thought it was interesting that the Armed Forces used these Inhibitors. T himself has a similar ability: he can negate the ability of any other ability user; and they both cause a similar blue shockwave. It's likely that the Intelligence Services is somehow assisting the Armed Forces." A slow clapping came from the room, from Ash, her normal eyes glowing blue. When she spoke, her voice sounded distorted. "Impressive, Jackson. You've figured out so much already. Yes, I, T, have lent these Inhibitors to the Armed Forces. And not only that, I have also given them a batch of particle missiles that will surely cause enormous destruction." Whether it was from Ash's sudden interruption or the news, the people all recoiled in shock. Jackson frowned. "T, is it?" Ash, or T, smiled. "Yes, yes. I do apologize for using Ash, but I do not feel it necessary to engage face-to-face conversation with you. On the topic of the missiles, they are in the hands of the Armed Forces, and they are aimed at all major locations, including the two bases and major cities. I believe they will take a week to prime?" T stopped, then continued. "The similarity between the Inhibitors and my own power is not a coincidence; regretfully you can't counter both the same way. Your cube will not be able to counter my power, though it is a fantastic invention. With that, Jackson, rebels, I wish you a good week." Ash suddenly collapsed.
  2. "You're late." Cyrus, in the guise of Petya, grabbed Ash's wrist. "I thought this shape would aid my scouting, but I suppose not." He turned around and undoing his disguise, said, "Greetings. I am Cyrus. Oh, you don't need to introduce yourself, I already know you, Sparrow." "I believed you would be at the meeting. There's still time for you to perform your role. Head back to the meeting. Your friend, Tasha, should be here soon. I bid you well." Cyrus ran around a corner and disappeared. "HEY! Sparrow! Where the hell are you?" Tasha's voice rang.
  3. (Stop heading to the Nubinelle HQ. First of all, it's hidden. Second of all, wouldn't you rather defend the missiles instead of attack the enemy? I'm retconning this action.)
  4. (@Kley: Not explosive, particle warheads. They haven't been developed yet in real life, I estimate they won't be developed for a while; they are a bit far ahead in the future. It works by emitting high-energy beams to disrupt the target's atomic structure. In a way, they are more powerful than nuclear warheads, and I would assume they have a similar lingering exposure like nuclear.)
  5. (@Kley: The missiles are far more destructive than nuclear missiles. They have particle warheads. And they won't take 5 minutes to prime. They'll take a week at best.)
  6. First of all, profile pic. :( Second of all, I don't have an ending date in mind yet. Will get one later.

  7. "Good morning, Greyfield, sir." Yi, dutifully holding a clipboard, glanced at it before speaking."T sends his regards. He has sent us a shipment of missiles. We estimate that the entire group can annihilate most of the country." "Excellent! We'll use them to crush the rebels once and for all! Prime them all!" Greyfield waved his arm, and Yi nodded and walked out of his room. "A bit of a fool, isn't he. T is never the one to give out weapons so wantonly. But a soldier must do what a soldier must do." She cleared her throat, then shouted. "All soldiers present, to attention! Prime the missiles and aim them at significant rebel bases! Now!" The soldiers scurried to their positions... ============================================================ "It's been a while, Brent." "You too, Jackson." They shook hands, then sat down. Immediately, Mokou ran up to Brent, gasping for breath. "Brent, sir, we found an ability recruit." Brent frowned. "A recruit? Now?" Jackson clapped his hands. "Oh, good. You haven't gotten an ability user in a while. I'll go organize my troops, and hopefully we can get this coalition working." He stood up and left the room. Brent sighed, then asked, "The name?" Mokou frowned, then replied, "I believe it's Rose. I found her wandering, and I decided to escort her. She's with the troops." "It's hard times for rookies. With the Armed Forces attacking so regularly, rookies tend to be the first to go. Huh, but we can't leave her. Let her sit in the meeting with the other ability users." Mokou frowned. "A rookie? What are you thinking?!" Brent raised a hand. "It'll be one of the best ways for her to gain experience without getting shot at. Now, go." Mokou went off, a bit unwillingly. ============================================================ "What do you mean, Sparrow isn't here?" Jackson tapped his foot impatiently. "She has to be in the meeting! One of our best fighters!" "Believe she's headed home. Want me to go get her?" Tasha tilted her head and waited for an answer. After Jackson nodded, she ran off. Jackson walked up to a Nubinelle Rebellion soldier and tapped his shoulder. "Get the other ability users ready. Of course, if they're conscious and all." The soldier nodded. ============================================================ (Signups closed. Rose (Lovestruck or whatever) will be the 7th member, and will be a member of the 8th Battalion. I'm back, guys! Whaddaya say we get this thing moving again?)
  8. I think that I, with a few others, blew what would be a simple matter a bit too large. I agree with IU that we should probably put this matter to rest until DCW IRL becomes more active, at which point where having a subforum may be of increased benefit. We can let DCW IRL expand on its own in the chatroom without having an additional subforum, though I still believe that having a subforum may increase activity not only for DCW IRL, but DCW as a whole. The reason why I do not want to move to a separate forum is because I remember a similar RP forum that was created by DCW members, and according to my knowledge, it died. Although DCW started out a wiki website, what could be bad about also allowing a unique RP element? There's still a wiki and there will always be wiki editors. But I digress. I know I sound like a diehard by continuing to argue even though I started out retracting my support, but DCW IRL matters a lot to me. It matters to a lot of people, and I hope everyone understands that DCW IRL may soon become just as important as the wiki. Ah, that's just speculation.
  9. Due to the newly implemented downtime clause, this round is temporarily suspended until February 1, 2013, 12:00 AM U.S Mountain Time. This does not necessarily mean you can't post, but do try to keep plot momentum at a minimum if you do, and I will not enforce my brutal inactivity clauses until the linked time. (The long inactivity period is due to the fact that I will be more busy this week, and will not have the time to moderate.)
  10. Something has definitely changed, but I just can't put my finger on it...

    1. A L

      A L

      Touch the screen?

  11. I wasn't actually saying anything in this one. But if you found a message of some sort, then sure, go with it.
  12. "I can't have them fighting now. That wouldn't be interesting at all," T said. "The Armed Forces are terrible at entertainment, and if I left them to go on their merry way, none of the Nubinelles or 8s would undergo evolution...if that's even a possibility to begin with for these people." "Damn it! We should just crush them all in hellfire! We got the missiles!" Waylon punched the wall, causing a small dent. "Wouldn't that be more interesting?" T glared at Waylon, who quickly cowered. "You do realize I could raze this entire nation if I so pleased? Greyfield, Brent, and Jackson are fleas compared to me. It's much better if we watch and experiment with this group. Far more fascinating, and we can sanitize and clear up later if needed anyways." T looked around, and called, "Cyrus! Penny! Are the shipments ready?" Cyrus appeared from a shadow. "I believe. The missile shipment, headed for the Armed Forces. Along with three more nullification generators." Waylon shouted, "You're giving them to the army? You have no clue what they'll do with them!" T shrugged. "It'll be interesting to see, say the least. Those missiles happen to be unprimed. It'll take 5 days to fire them. 17 in total. Each of them with the payload to annihilate the capital. This base is shielded, to say the least, but we could move anyways." Cyrus looked at T. "But how will the rebels learn of the missiles in time to make a confrontation? This is what you are planning, correct?" T looked at Cyrus with a hint of approval. "Yes, and it will be far more interesting than a little shoot-out. As for the message, I already happen to have that covered. The two rebel factions happen to be having a joint meeting soon. The girl, Sparrow, will be my messenger. And Waylon, don't worry. You have a part in this plan as well." ====================================================== (How about a major shakeup?)
  13. (Note that Greyfield is extremely terrified of T, so he probably won't refer to him as a 'fool'.)
  14. "Enough." T walked into the room, and as if by some great force, everyone stopped fighting. T turned to Greyfield. "Greyfield. I thought I told you not to get too overzealous. And now I find that your forces have taken a hostage and led this duo into your midst. Not only that, but you've shot one of them." T sighed. "Do you not understand? These two happen to be important to my operations, and yet I see your forces shooting at them!" He walked up to Greyfield, the soldiers strangely unable to respond, and looked at him in the eyes. "If I see you or any of your forces hurt this girl, who's name happens to be Ash, I will personally come and hang you! And anyone involved!" He paused, then pointed at Vivi. That girl over there as well, Vivi, I believe. Same goes for her. Do you understand?" Greyfield gulped, then collapsed. T then turned towards Vivi. "Please don't die. You are far too interesting too die." T paused. "Your friend, Sakila, I believe? Anyways, she should now be in the hands of the 8th Battalion, where she belongs. So, please, cease this fighting for now. The 8th Battalion and the Nubinelle Rebellion are holding a joint meeting, and your friend needs immediate medical care. Go." After Vivi left with Ash, T walked up to Petya. "I believe you were the one who happened to blind Ash. Do not touch her again. Or I will hang you as well." T began to walk out, then said, "I believe I made my point clear. You Armed Forces are to cease unnecessary fire. This is understood." He waved his hand, and the soldiers collapsed, released from the strange paralysis. T walked away and was gone. ============================================================ (Too much fighting too early. Besides, I think you two (KKLT and Amontillado) should be getting to the meeting.)
  15. (Just a note, it seems like you kinda ignored my little piece up there. )
  16. I agree that this is a valid point. But I think we could display the most common languages only, should technical limit be present. How we determine what a common language is may be up for debate, though.
  17. "Oh, my. You shut down the generator." T looked at Vivi. "Impressive indeed. But the Armed Forces tend to be unreliable." He looked at the Armed Forces distastefully. That generator was a gift from my organization, by the way. It's an old generator, and we're well on our way to miniaturizing it. Oh, I say too much." He looked back at the battlefield. "Ah! Your friends, the battalion, are showing up. I guess I don't have much more business here." T stood up and began to walk away, then looked at Ash. "Hit by Blind Eye. That is unfortunate. You are far too interesting for me to leave this be." He held out his hand and the air began to smell of ozone. A bright light came from his hand and shot into Ash's eyes. "I believe that will neutralize the effects. I hope you show me more interesting battles to come. Please do not mind if I speak through you later. I would like to talk to Brent, but meeting him personally does not suit me." He began to walk away, but Ash swung her scythe. But right before it made contact, a bright blue light came from T and when the light faded, the reaper was disfigured and on the ground. "Ah, interesting. I help you and you try to kill me. I will be going now." He walked away and was gone. ========================================================================= ("Please do not mind if I speak through you later." Interesting. And also, T's first appearance! I'm trying to be a bit more active than I and the other mods have been in the past. Please bear with me if I come in and screw things up.)
  18. "I don't know what that girl's about to do, but it ain't gonna work! Got the generator?" Two soldiers with a clunky, huge machine walked up to the man and dropped the machine gently. "For years these ability users have been a thorn in our sides...let's see how useful they are without their precious abilities!" The man flipped a switch and the machine began to whir. It glowed blue, and suddenly, with a jump, emitted a blue shockwave that reaches out as far as he could see. All of a sudden, Sakila became visible, Jackson stopped using Mach Step, Tasha fell from the sky, William lost his iron skin, and Mokou groaned after being hit by a bullet. William shouted, "I reckon this would never happen! An Inhibitor! Jackson, sir, we should retreat! Our abilities are zapped and we're outnumbered!" ============================ (You gotta let me have some fun. Inhibitors, yay! FYI, Inhibitors are new tech, and William came up with the name on the spot. No one has seen one before this.)
  19. "It's not good to lie, Spar." William put one hand on Sparrow's shoulder, fully aware that she could not see. "Jackson, sir, the weapon shipment got delayed by the recent Armed Forces attack. The attack scared off the trucks, so we'll be low on arms for a bit. I recently got word that Spar here chased off the entire attack nearly singlehandedly, but got hit by Blind Eye." "We'll be without one of our best fighters, and low on arms." Jackson was frowning, and the mood turned sour in the room. "It looks like we'll have to fall back on our regular operations, sadly. Unless we get Brent to lend a hand..." The people shifted uncomfortably. Brent was well known, and public opinion of him varied among the Rebellion. "For now, we will hold off on our operations, and get Brent's assistance along with his entire battalion. Misaki, I'd like you to get in touch with him. Bring a team."
  20. I personally think DCW IRL is not "big" enough to warrant a roleplay subforum. Although it would be nice, I don't think DCW IRL deserves such special treatment yet.
  21. Jupiter has officially begun, with two open slots, which are still up for grabs! I will take applications for 7 more days.

  22. I don't see a problem with doing this, but unfortunately I'm really only able to help with the Korean lyrics.
  23. Completely random, but I love your profile pic.

  24. AS OF NOW the round has officially begun, which means that you may now post and I may screw with every single one of your attempts to restore/destroy this world. I am STILL accepting applications for 7 more days, or in link form, this time. Happy hunting!
