So I got caught up in Osomatsu-san yesterday. The comedy's pretty hit or miss, but it's overall still pretty enjoyable. I really like the old character designs, especially the sextuplets's. I'm excited to see what the second cour this winter will bring. Haikyuu's been really good lately. The training camp arc is coming to a close, so unfortunately a bunch of fan favorite characters are going to be leaving soon. The second season's been really good so far, but in comparison I still prefer the manga. I think it just overall handled the character development in the training camp arc better. That being said, I'm not sure where the anime's going to go from here. The upcoming arc is the fall tournament arc, and the manga's at the end of that arc right now. If they go ahead and start that, they could probably get one match in, but they couldn't just stop at that point. So if they do start the next arc, a third season is likely inevitable, but then the question becomes, when would a season three happen since the manga's not as far ahead anymore. The anime's been pretty faithful to the manga, so there's also the chance an in between arc could be added in to buy the mangaka some time. Whatever happens though, I'm looking forward to it and will always be down for an additional season.

OMM - very, very quiet... sehr, sehr, sehr ruhig.... Yeah I can't imagine they'd not do Viva La Vida. At the very least A Sky Full of Stars, Paradise, and Adventure of a Lifetime will probably also be included. I'd love to hear them play Clocks too though I see, that sounds nice! Let me know what you think about it after you get around to doing that. I don't really buy music anymore, but I've managed to track down a few of the songs off the album and so far, I think Army of One's my favorite.

They really do. I hope they won't only play songs off of A Head Full of Dreams because of that. Have you heard any of the songs off A Head Full of Dreams btw? I've only heard the little previews off of iTunes so I don't really have an opinion yet.

OMM 1: I had no idea Coldplay's new album was coming out tomorrow, or well, in a little under hour for me technically. I didn't even know Adventure of a Lifetime was a thing until yesterday. I hope the album's good though since there's a chance it could be their last OMM 2:I hope the holidays get here soon, I miss being on break

I finished Gundam, and started Zeta. I went from such a high note and surprisingly nice finale to just.. angst. Immature, impulsive, brash angst. It's the worst kind of angst, because at this point in time, I don't have any other knowledge of this character and for all I know, he might just be like this all the time and never change. I don't mind and even sort like angst when these characteristics signify character development, but what a horrible first impression did this protag leave. I didn't particularly like Amuro, but he at least he wasn't irritating from the start. If this protag doesn't get more tolerable this is gonna be a rough 50 episodes... Zeta's protag, Kamille, seems more tragic than Amuro. I'm 5 ep's in and his mom was killed in front of him, and his dad's been just very... crappy. Kamille's parents are both very successful in a professional sense, but the mom was incredibly unhappy, the dad has a mistress, and their child's just... he's not... this has obviously affected him negatively to say the least. I like tragic characters, but I've never seen a tragic character done this way before. Most/all I've seen are usually very quiet, polite, trying to mask everything, and just generally try to fade into the background and not cause any trouble. Meanwhile, Kamille's constantly doing something he probably shouldn't be doing. He's punched so many people and inconvenienced many others yet he's still trucking. I've heard good things about him though, so I hope he'll change soon. I do want to like him, especially since I wasn't particularly fond of Amuro, but he's hard to tolerate at the moment. I think that change might have already started though, because in the first ep, right when he heard the one military guy mentioned how 'Kamille''s typically a girl's name and he was flying over to punch him, he was using "ore", but now that he's surrounded by people who he likes and feels more respected by, he's using "boku" I really hope this means, the side he's now currently with will have a positive impact on him and change him for the better. Or rather, that he'll allow himself to be influenced by this new group of people for the better. Being that he's now going to be in a constant military environment and thrust into battle frequently, his odds of turning out great aren't too high, but I hope his angst dies out soon because of it. When Amuro was being angsty and irritating, he was put back into place fairly quickly, so I'm hoping something similar will happen here too. Something tells me a couple slaps across the face and stern talking-to's won't make too much of an impact on Kamille though....

OMM: My friend convinced me to download Neko Atsume and the app's so pointless--you just sit around and wait for new cats to visit your lot and then take pictures of them. I really like it though... I hope Tubbs shows up soon

*obligatory Pupa mention* Now that that's out of the way, Meganebu and Senki Zesshou Symphogear are definitely pretty high up there on my list. Meganebu aired a couple weeks after SnK and Free were airing, and being that I'd just gotten back into anime after a year off or so, my expectations of everything were pretty high. Because of that, I watched a good amount of the things airing that fall. One or two series ended up being pleasant surprises, most were average, but then there was this thing. The animation was unappealing, the character designs bugged me, I didn't like the voice acting, nor the "plot". I dreaded watching a new episode every week, but I had a feeling if I dropped it, and later complained about, I'd likely get accused of only watching an ep or two, and then forming a negative opinion. So I stuck it out, and now I'm here :^) I don't even like thinking about this one because it makes me irritated when I'm reminded how disappointing it was As for Symphogear... I feel bad about disliking this one as much as I do because it's one of my friends favorite series but I just.... n-no thanks. I guess I just don't find its concept appealing.... I feel weird criticizing this one too much because my friend likes it so much to be honest...

OMM: I'm behind in so many webcomics and have always had a hard time keeping up with webcomics and things that release weekly in general yet I keep starting more Thank you! If I'm not mistaken, the hobby's technically called needle felting and the entire premise is just taking clumps of wool (not sure what kind specifically) and stabbing it into the shape you want with felting needles. To make the basic shapes, you'd just rip off a thing of wool, roll into the approximate shape you wanted, and start poking it. The needles have little grooves in them that help the fibers bind together so, for the most part, you don't really need any glue to fasten anything together. You can use a single needle to shape everything, but my sister has this pen that has three needles on it and it made the shaping process much faster. For the ears and snout, we had a pattern cut out and used those felt sheets you can find at most craft stores for like $1 to make them. (We were going off a book about felt dogs my sister bought so we would know what shape to make the patterns) Though the texture is different, you can still get it to stick if you poke it enough times. My sister said she bought the eyes and noses on Amazon. The eyes had little points on the back and were able to be pressed in, but the noses did need to be glued on. As for the mouths, we just used embroidery thread and a larger sewing needle. Because you are stabbing through something, you do need some sort of padding; we used a foam board, but some people use sponges. The main downside of felting though is that after a while, you'll just be stuck with all these little pointless critters that can potentially take up quite a bit of room. In an attempt to avoid this, my sister ended up crocheting all of her dogs little scarves and made them into ornaments, but mine are just chilling out on my desk taking up space haha If you can get over the frequent finger pricking, it really is a nice little craft. (It is fairly time consuming though. My sister said the first dog she made using a single needle took about four hours, the first one I made took about 2 hours, but I used the pen mostly and didn't have to any patterns or anything. Once you know what you're doing though, you can start and finish one in give or take 90 minutes.)

So uh.... did'ja guys here that in some tens of billions of years, Mars might become a ringed planet after its gravity destroys its largest moon? Though no one will be around to see it, I hope it happens. Just imagine how cool it'd look up and see a ringed planet. If you had a decent telescope, the view would probably be incredible. In less cool news, one of the last northern white rhinos died a couple days ago. There are now just three left on the planet. As far as I know, two of the three are now past reproductive age too (two of the three are both males anyway) so with each day, their existence looks more, and more grim. If there's anything good to come out of this, it's that it did make more people aware of just how many species are facing endangerment and even extinction. Hopefully, as time goes on and people become more aware, less animals will face extinction and get to the point where they can only survive and thrive in captivity. (nsfw warning? maybe...?) --I forgot to add this yesterday! The Cleveland Clinic is expected to be the place of the first uterus transplant in the United States. The uterus would come from an organ donor and would be given to a woman who lacks a functioning one. The uterus would have to be removed after the woman has one or two children though, so it's not a complete substitute, but for infertile women this is still great news. However, any and all pregnancies conceived by women with these transplants would be considered high risk meaning the cost of this would go up even more. There have been previous attempts at uterine transplants in other countries, and a few of them have been successful. All the successful transplants were done with uteruses that came from live donors though. (In five of the successful cases, the donors were the women's mothers meaning those women and their children were formed/would be formed in the same womb) While this is good news, it has brought up the question of whether or not this is going too far, so take this news as you will. ^ I'm not one to advise against using labels, but I am going to urge you to just take the label lightly. Some people know their orientation from a young age, but things do have the chance of changing, so just try to keep that in mind and it'll save you a lot of grief. If any doubts do come up though, take a step back and address them instead of going into something akin to denial because you've already decided you're one thing and therefore think you can't be something different. The label's not set in stone, so if it ever seems off, reconsider it c: I found one of my old friends got the lead role at her dance studio's performance of The Nutcracker this year Be the best Clara that studio's ever seen!
