didn't Haibara met Inspector Yamato right before the Red Wall Case episode? if he is Rum then why didn't she sense the presence of a BO member to him? So far when there's a BO member near her she can sense them and she was right. Only in that case where mitsuhiko was missing that she didn't feel any because probably that person wasn't that important member of BO. Those who have Codenames has the biggest impact. Yamato couldn't be Rum right?

I first watched DC is when I was a kid around 7 or 8. so basically when I first saw it I say " cool a new cartoon to watch!" I like the first episode and it was enjoyable so I always watch it on tv. it was one of plenty anime that I can never forget.

3rd question. I wonder if he plans in the future to draw a chapter in which Shinichi, Shiho and Ran will have a face to face. Like they all see each other. They did it in the live action but not in the manga or anime.

1. why is shiho miyano became the scientist for the org rather than Akemi who is older? 2. How long is Haibara a scientist for Black Org and does she know the real name of the BO? 3. Could there be a chance to see Shinichi, Shiho and Ran have face to face ? It would be nice if you guys can ask this question for me. Please thanks

Well it would be nice if at least a year or a year and half past in DC so we can see how the progress of APTX 4869. it's just that how can Haibara complete the antidote when the drug that she made was researched for half a century and on top of that It wasn't even complete. There should be a struggle along the lines of creating it since she doesn't even have a research team to do it. Creating the Antidote should take long years too even if it's a prototype. She makes a prototype within around the 6 months or more but less than a year. Then it should be at least revealed what APTX is meant for. It would make sense that the antidote prototype was at least created after a year or more passed but then that will be sad since those kinds of thing are not easy. it's also a curiosity if they are actually growing again if a year or more months passed and how emotions and attitudes of the characters developed.

For main characters my fave is definitely Ai Haibara. she's Mysterious and Brilliant For DC officers it's Miwako Sato. She's strong and smart too For BO member is Kir. She's a loving sister My other faves are Conan, the DB and FBI

Yeah I agree with you. Staying as Haibara is another way of hiding instead of facing the reality. She doesn't have to stay being child and she can be Shiho and keep what she learned or gathered when she is Ai-chan.

She doesn't have to leave the detective boys. She can still hang out with them and do trips and camping even if she's back to being Shiho. Ran and Sonoko hangs out with the detective boys and invite them in several occasions. Of course her being back to Shiho means revealing everything as Shinichi will also do. The whole world doesn't have to know the truth only to those important ones that greatly part of their life.

Hmmm?? well I'm hoping not a romantic one cuz that just doesn't seem right to me considering age gaps. I admire Ai-chan a lot so I don't want her character to be ruined just because of this Gin, Sherry unconfirmed relationship. Gosho needs to start building the story towards revelation and resolution. The story is not even half way of revealing BO motives, intentions, and goals. It's been years and nothing is close to knowing BO's whereabouts.

Yes she can be whatever she wants to be because she is very smart in her on way she's indeed remarkable! A cute idea for ending also is that Shinichi and Ran have their own private detective company with Shiho/Ai as Shinichi's partner on solving cases and detective boys as their apprentices Just positive endings

Hi Solid Ai Haibara/ Shiho Miyano friends Ai is also my fave character in DC and she's the most interesting character for me because she's mysterious, brilliant, dark and sad. Her story is also one thing that I want to resolve and of course I want her to have a happy ending as well as the others. Her ending doesn't have to be grand but most importantly is that she doesn't have to be afraid anymore. That she found justice for her sister's death and just simply be happy. I don't like the idea that she will stay as a child because obviously she knows to herself that she isn't a child. Although she is in her child form she still behave as an adult so no reason for her to stay like a kid. I would like her end to be just return from being Shiho and live a normal life with the people she have already met. Move on with the past and start a new beginning. I agree with some of you guys to come clean with the detective boys when all things are done with the BO and still have a close relationship with them. She can stay with Agasa since he is already a father to him. She can live like a normal teenager and go back to school and be friends with Ran, Sonoko and the other girls or be part of some group that recognizes her being a brilliant scientist. As for partner she can just meet anyone while everything is in peace, given that Shinichi is going to be with Ran (although I want her to be with Shinichi). She doesn't really need a love interest at all because for me what matters the most is that she is no longer alone, afraid and sad. All I want for her is that she feels important, valued, respected, cared and loved after they finishes the battle with BO.

Ai/ Shiho is indeed a very interesting character, she can even have her own story line. Staying as a child in the end was a bad idea because that just means she's running away to reality and her being with Mitsuhiko is pathetic. Although Ai was in child form she still acts an adult it means staying as a child was her only way to keep her out of danger and also at least to have her experience what is taken from her when she was child which is fun. It was also part of her transition that she can move on with her past because of the people she had met that changes her attitude, perception and other aspects of life. I would like her to be paired up with shinichi realizing that Ai was with him throughout the whole battle with BO. But given that it was Ran who Shinichi is going to be with. Ai/Shiho can be happy for both of them since I believe Ai/Shiho respected Ran for being strong and selfless like her sister. Ai can go back to being Shiho, move on, start a new life with the people who she already have surrounded with and live a normal life. She doesn't need a man to make her happy just knowing that she is not alone anymore and there's people to care for her is a good ending already. Other alternative since we're not moving closer to the end is Gosho to create another character that she has a strong bond with before he met Conan and others. I also like the idea of her being with Higo if given a chance

Yeah same here I didn't really care that much because there's other anime that I'm interested at and DC didn't really continue to show in the Philippines. I came across with again in adult swim but they only showed it in the morning like around 5 to 6am. Then last year June that I thought I should finish DC since I started finishing some anime such as inuyasha, yu yu hakusho and hunter x hunter. I was also surprise that other than the anime episodes there's also movies but now I'm catching up because I'm on series 2011 and movie 15. I'm not in a hurry to finish all the episodes and movies I like to take my time on it

First time I watched DC was in 1997 or 1998 and i think i was 8 or 9. I loved watching anime back then and when they showed it in TV it was one of the show i always watched it everyday. I didn't really follow DC because as it was developing I am also growing . Some of my friends know this show because it was our era when they start making it. I didn't know that this anime was still on going till i revisited the anime that i used to watch when i was young. Basically watching old school stuff is my past time when im not doing anything. I thought this anime already ended since it been long years since i watched it but to my surprise they haven't resolved anything yet. Now that I'm hooked again i want to know how this Anime will end even if it takes another 10 yrs.

I used to love ShinRan but as i get deeper in the story I wanted Ai to have Shinichi is because she needs him to light her dark and lonely world. Sure Ran is her childhood bestfriend and they have been together so long and shared happy and bad moments but it;s nothing to compare what Ai has been through. Through out the development of each character I believed Ai Haibara evolved the most because of the help of Conan. This sad girl whose alone from the beginning gathered courage and started to open her heart because of an influence coming from a person that is positive. Ai Haibara is not the same person as she was after the first Black Organization impact which in Anime episode 345. She became more happy and light from being serious and heavy. Ai and Conan complement each other because they help each other developed as they strive to look for justice and truth. Ran is obvious that she will be the one because for almost 20 years it's been her always in the picture although nothing about her evolved. Always the same which makes it a bit boring.

If Ai is the most person whose going to be surprised or affected who the boss is then its probably related to her or somehow in a connection with her. I feel like some of her family may still be alive.. Oh well the story is still developing up until now, more characters is probably will be introduced..

I don't think there is a romantic relationship with Gin and Sherry specially Shiho/Ai/Sherry seems to be a person who is very focus on her work. I remember her sister Akemi saying in episode 129 a flash back where Akemi and Shiho is talking said that "Stop making some drug and instead find yourself a boyfriend" She's not the type of person who have time for love since she was a scientist in a dark organization. As for Gin why obsessed in killing Sherry, maybe she was very important to the Organization and lots of her work was probably put trusted in her. Maybe Sherry was one of the boss favorite too and her betrayal was unforgivable. Well for that we have to know who the boss is first. Gin hates traitor he was probably obsessed killing her because she got away many times and hunting her maybe fun for him because you she's still alive. Also Ai/Shiho is a main character and being hunted by Gin or other Black organization is just putting an emphasis that she could be probably one of the key on how to destroy the organization. Well it's still up to the author how he wants to make the story of each character.

Hi my name is gem and Im new here in this community. Well I love watching anime and Detective Conan was one one of them. I started watching Detective conan since i was 8 or 9 i think and that was back in 1997 or 1998. I didn't know till last year that this anime was still showing when i decided to revisit some anime that i used to watch when i was a kid. I thought this show already ended and i wanted to finish where i was left off but to my surprise it was still on going and I'm on my 20s. Detective Conan brought back lots of my good childhood memories and its very nostalgic. Now that I'm watching again some pretty interesting characters were introduced and got me hooked again. I'm looking for more adventures and stories about this anime till they bring the fight to the B.O boss. So DC lovers I'm looking forward to be your friend and share updates, opinions, stories and etc in regards of this journey as we find the TRUTH
