Considering all the great masters of painting and landscape used reference (drawing from life, usually) I cannot imagine that would be not allowed. I use a lot of mediums, but I'm lazy and like to use Corel Painter for most everything. My scanner glass has a huge spiderweb crack in it, so that's a deterrent to physical media. :\

I think you need to ink them. :3

I wasn't thrilled with Heiji in the live action, though I loved Kazuha, so I hope it's better? I think if they fix his hat I will be a lot happier, lol. I liked their actors a lot, I hope they don't change anyone anymore.
