  1. The wiki name is based on your actual DCW username and thus cannot be changed :/ (unless you create a new account). I could maybe change your username here (not sure, I'd need to check), but the wiki will then create a brand new account with the new username instead and you'll lose the history of your contributions. It's quite a complex process so I'd rather not touch anyone...

  2. Hello! Welcome to DCW! :)

You actually joined us on the day of my birthday! :D

  3. Haha, it's alright and thanks a lot! :D

  4. Well, it wasn't anything special. I just had a nice diner with my friends here. Oh and I went to see the winter carnival in downtown Québec yesterday. It was pretty nice (they had cool ice sculptures). :D

  5. Merci! :P Yeah, it was fun! Though, like I said in my status, I'm feeling old now haha. D:

  6. I actually downloaded the upgrade already but they changed a few things in the template system. Therefore, I have quite a few things to fix first so that the DCW "theme" works correctly with the new version. So, yes, we will have a forum update at some point. I'm just not sure when yet. :/
  7. Of course I celebrate birthdays! :D

    Why do you ask?

  8. Thanks a lot! It's good to see you around again! :D

And you're so lucky to be in vacations!!! :P

    Have an awesome day too!

  9. Thank you! :D

    I'll definitely try! :)

    Have good day too! ^^

  10. Thanks a lot! And no, no white hair yet! >:P

  11. Thanks a bunch! :P

  12. Thanks a lot for the birthday wishes! :)

  13. Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!! :D (feeling old D:)

You are in perfect age right now.

  14. I wasn't gonna make a new thread about it but I believe it's the best way to spread awareness among members and visitors. So, if you click on "Chat" at the top, you will now have access to the web-based version of our IRC channel! Link: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/chat For a quick tutorial about how to install an IRC client instead (such as mIRC or IceChat), check out this thread: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/forum/topic/959-detective-conan-world-irc-channel/ To register your nickname in the channel, simply use the following commands: I. If you would like to change your nickname first, do: /nick YourNewNickname II. To register your current nickname, do: /msg NickServ register password email Where "password" is the password you would like to use to login and "email" is your email address. You will be receiving an email shortly after to confirm your registration. Then, the next time you go into the channel again, simply choose your nickname and identify yourself by doing: /msg NickServ identify password Where "password" is the password you used to register. That's about it. Have fun!
  15. Congratulations Chekhov and welcome to the team! It's a real pleasure to work with you (you really have been doing a treamendous job on the wiki and your knowledge about DC is astonishing!). So thanks again and keep up the good work!
  16. First of all, Guten Tag and welcome to DCW! It didn't really fall through. Both websites agreed to "collaborate". All, we need to do is start adding a language component to the site. For example, something like [[de:Conan Edogawa]] at the bottom of the "Conan Edogawa" page. But it's true that language support hasn't yet been added to the wiki (thus, it won't quite work right now). It's on my todo list though.
  17. Right, I should have been more precise. Don't put the < > symbols. In your case Kaoko, it would be: /msg NickServ register ********* gkoko@gmail.com
  18. Nope, nobody can see it. At the top of the frame, you should see a "Status" tab. That's where you should look when you do those commands. Don't forget to add a slash "/" before the line, such as: /msg NickServ etc.... This way, nobody will see those commands.
  19. When you first join the channel, you're asked for a nickname right? That's what I meant. Simply join the channel as "OfficerKaoko" (for example) and that's it. You can then run the commands I posted above. If you're already in the channel and want to change your nickname to something else, use: /nick SomeOtherName Let me know if you have any problem.
  20. There's a system in place to register your nickname. This way, if someone else uses it, after a few seconds or so, they will get renamed to something random. To register your username, just type the following command (while already having your desired nickname): /msg NickServ register your_password your_email Then you will receive an email to confirm your registration. Follow the instructions and you're good to go. The next time you go into the IRC channel, you simply need to login. If I recall correctly, it's something like: /msg NickServ identify your_password
