  1. I actually copy/pasted what CC wrote in his first post (I hadn't listened to the podcast yet). But I can definitely add it. Annndd done!
  2. Welcome to DCW! I hope you like it here!
  3. Already added it to the studio: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/studio/podcast/3 I'll go listen to it now!
  4. Lol, ok? :)

    I'll be prepared hehe.

  5. Just a note: for now, as you can see, there's a "black" screen when viewing the podcast. But I can put a picture there instead. We just need to come up with some kind of standard and I can incorporate the image anytime (it's already implemented, just not active). Right now, the picture needs to be 668x400 (though we may change the height if needed - but the width needs to be 668px). As for the picture itself, maybe it could be some DC-related background with, on top, written the podcast episode title, the hosts names, guests, etc... If any of the hosts would like to submit a picture for the podcast, please let me know! If the community would like to participate as well and propose pictures for the podcasts, please be my guest!
  6. Yeah, it's already up! And I'm glad you guys like it. Big thanks to the podcasts hosts again for their great work!
  7. Hi folks! As many of you already know, DCW has been releasing podcasts thanks to our amazing staff members and podcast hosts: CarpetCrawler, Southpaw and skyechan! Due to their overwhelming popularity, we came up with a new section for the site to promote them called: Studio! This new section will show a list of podcasts released by our team to date and will allow "logged in members" to stream any podcast right from the site and comment on it (as well as facebook-like it). If not logged in, an external link to mediafire will be provided to download the mp3. The cool thing is that this new section has a lot of room for "growth". Let me explain. It is called Studio because it will not only contain podcasts but also a lot of DCW/fan released content! Since this is a huge feature (and thus a lot of work), this section will only feature podcasts for now but in the future, it will be possible to see manga chapters released by DCW (like the Magic Kaito chapter we worked on recently) as well as fan work such as stories, drawings and videos (though this will take more time to implement since it requires implementing some kind of user control panel so that you can manage your submitted "fan works"). In the meantime, new podcasts will be added to the podcast list as they get released and you will be able to listen to them right away! I hope you enjoy this new addition to the site. As usual, feedback greatly appreciated! Have fun! Link: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/studio
  8. Hey Jodie! Welcome to DCW! It's always good to see hardcore DC fans lol (did you like wake up at 3:00am everyday or something?) Anyway, I hope you're having fun here and good luck with the fanfic you're working on.
  9. That's a pretty interesting and colorful "About Me" you got there lol. Can I get a little teaser for the fanfic? :)

  10. Hello Rose! Welcome to DCW. You'll definitely find other ConanXAi fans here lol.
  11. Hello! Welcome to DCW.
  12. Well, you can still make one anytime, you know that right? And welcome John! I hope you enjoy it here!

    Hello and welcome to DCW!
  14. Hello Sandii! Glad to see you there and already being pretty comfortable here on the forum haha. In any case, welcome to DCW.
  15. Hello Shady! I have no clue if this is good but Google Translate thinks so: مرحبا بكم في DCW! (or "Welcome to DCW!" ) I hope you enjoy your stay here. Indeed lol.
  16. There's also a Guide page on the wiki for general formatting information: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Detective_Conan_Wiki:Guide The first few episodes have a resolution part alerady. Just check them out as examples. Basically, there normally needs to be a an "Evidence", "Conclusion" and "Motive" section. For example, see: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/An_Idol%27s_Locked_Room_Murder_Case
  17. I started listening to it and I must say it's pretty good so far. Quite entertaining and you guys seem to be having fun. Keep it up!
  18. Yeah, it's the reputation. I think when it's over 10, it changes.

  19. Sure! :)

Welcome to DCW. I hope you enjoy it here. ^^

  20. IRC is a good idea and I'm definitely open to suggestions as usual. The only challenge would be to find a nice IRC web-based client that we could put in the "Chat" section of the site and which could connect to our IRC channel. I know that computer savvy users will be using an IRC client instead, like mIRC, but we want to make the chatting process as accessible as possible to everyone, hence the Chat section at the top. Fortunately, most popular IRC servers nowadays provide an IRC web-based interface. So, we'll see what can be done there. And yes, I'm a HE...
  21. It looks like it's an IPB limitation (the forum software). Maybe in a future forum upgrade, it'll fix itself. But like Southpaw said, I don't see it being a big issue for now.
  22. Well, do you have knowledge about the Object-Oriented programing concept? And do you know Java maybe? If you do, it should be ok as long as you get used to the C syntax which is ok.

  23. Nice, you watch Glee too? :o Haha, cool.

  24. It looks really cool skyechan! (the cover page is really well done too. Very professional!) I can't wait to have a look at it! ^^ Good job!
  25. Hey Shuichi!

Basically, when you post something on the forum, people can click on the green "+" circle if they find it useful or valuable. This will increase your reputation. Note that you cannot vote for your own posts.

    Hope that's helpful. :)
